Alice Cooper reunites with original band members Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway, and Neal Smith for the first time in 50 years with The Revenge Of Alice Cooper, reports Buddy Iahn of The Music Universe. The upcoming album is set for release on July 25th via earMusic and also features original guitarist Glen Buxton, who passed away in 1997. It’s the group’s first collaboration since 1973’s Muscle Of Love.
The project is produced by Bob Ezrin, who has a long-standing history with Cooper, having worked on iconic albums such as Love It To Death, Killer, School’s Out, and Billion Dollar Babies with the original band, as well as numerous solo albums by Alice Cooper, including 1975’s Welcome To My Nightmare and 2021’s Detroit Stories.
The album is described as a high-voltage journey into vintage horror and classic ’70s shock rock, packed with the sound, energy, and mischief that made them legendary. It aims to recapture the spirit of his classic albums with electrifying riffs, raw energy, and Cooper’s signature storytelling.
A special edition will also include a seven-inch vinyl with two bonus tracks — “Return Of The Spiders 2025” and “Titanic Overunderture”.
