Black Sabbath se reforme

Cela fait un moment que la rumeur traine, mais en plus Tony Iommi ne fait que l'alimenter depuis quelques mois :

BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi has told GibsonCustom.com that the possibility of a new SABBATH album has not been ruled out. Asked point-blank if there will be a new CD of original material from the heavy metal pioneers, Iommi responded, "We would hope so. I'm hoping we will do another one. One of the major problems, of course, is Ozzy's been doing a lot of other stuff with his MTV stuff. Hopefully within the next year we'll be able to do something. I'm wrapped up at the minute doing my solo stuff and still writing, but I've got some stuff in hand if we do do another SABBATH album."

Pour cela il faudra que Ozzy (ou plutôt Sharon) arrête son cirque sur MTV, mais sait-on jamais...

Il sort quand son album solo au fait ??
Sinon j'aime bien les inédits de l'album "reunion" ça peut se faire mais pas avant 2006 je pense !!

Son album solo je suis pas au courant, par contre en attendant il y a son ancien album avec Glenn Hugues qui sort (enfin) le 11 Octobre

Black Sabbath avec Ozzy, y'avait des bons trucs. J'adore pas mal de trucs en fait, et je ne nie pas l'importance historique de cette période du groupe. Mais Black Sabbath avec Dio, ça c'était la grosse classe de sa mère la grosse pute. Heaven & Hell putain ! A quand un nouvel album ? C'est pas demain la veille, je pense que Iommi & Cie. préfère "banker" sur Ozzy, qui est un zombie ambulant...

On dirait bien qu'ils préparent quelque chose, quand on voit toutes ces rééditions, la dernière en date c'est un coffret en cuir qui regroupe tous leurs singles des années 70, limité à 500 exemplaires.

Ozzy a annoncé qu'il arrêtait ses reality shows à la con (Sharon a du considérer que c'était plus trop rentable), est-ce un signe avant-coureur de la reformation des 4 anglais pour de bon?
J'veux pas bruler les étapes, mais à mon avis ça va dans ce sens, vu que c'était ce qu'espérait Tony Iommi... à suivre

According to Reuters, OZZY OSBOURNE may have made his comeback by starring in one of MTV's most popular reality TV shows to date, but he's had enough.

"When you watch a 25-minute episode, I've been filming all day," Ozzy said, when asked if he and his family were thinking of doing another series of The Osbournes. "At the end of it I didn't like having cameras around the house all the time," he told reporters at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Rome.

His wife and co-star agreed.

"Now everybody's doing (reality shows)," Sharon Osbourne said. "He's done it, he's been there, he's got to do something else."

ben moi ça m'intéresserait un nouveau Black Sabbath, après tout Geezer à sorti d'excellents albums en solo, Tony Iommi n'a jamais rien fait de mauvais (enfin j'ai pas écouter son deuxième album solo, vu les inviter je me méfie y a qu'Ozzy qui tourne en roue libre depuis 5 ans , moi une reformation avec Tony Martin me contenterait laaargement

Une reformation avec Tony Martin ne risquera pas d'arriver de sitôt vu que ce dernier veut tout faire pour tourner la page Black Sabbath de manière définitive. Il a été viré deux fois il ne faut pas l'oublier, et je crois qu'il en avait marre d'entendre que Black Sabbath sans Ozzy c'était nul...

Je pense aussi que Black Sabbath auraient beaucoup de mal à recréer le feeling originel du groupe, néanmoins je ne pourrais pas m'empêcher d'être intéressé si la reformation avait réellement lieu

Avec Dio déjà c'est pas possible, avec Tony Martin non plus, Ian Gillan ça m'étonnerait que ça le branche, Glenn Hugues est suffisamment occupé en solo... bon ben il reste que Ozzy =)

Black Sab' vont faire des festivals européens d'été d'après Glenn Hugues, dont le nouveau projet avec Iommi pourrait être de la partie, ça serait cool

Singer-bassist Glenn Hughes, who's finishing up a new album with SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi, said that Ozzy Osbourne and company will hit both Europe and North America this year, and that he might also be on the bill. "They are doing the, the festival run in Europe, and I believe — if I'm not shooting my foot off here — that they will be playing Ozzfest," he said. "And there's a rumor that Tony and I will be, with our new project, on that same bill, but I can't say that's gonna happen — but you never know."

Et Geezer Butler s'occupe avec un nouvel album solo, Ohmwork (joli jeu de mot ), signé chez Sanctuary lui aussi, décidément le label signe tout ce qui touche à Black Sabbath en ce moment :

'Ohmwork' has a current release projection of April 2005 (the exact date is not set yet). The album will be released by Sanctuary. There's no cover art available yet, but Geezer's people tell me that it should be completed shortly, and when I have it available, I'll put it online here. The track listing for 'Ohmwork' is:

"A bit about the band behind 'Ohmwork':

"Of course, it's got Geezer Butler on bass. Geezer also produced the album. If you're reading this news on my BLACK SABBATH site, and you don't know who Geezer Butler is, what's wrong with you?

"On vocals we have Clark Brown. Clark also handled vocals on Geezer's last solo release, that being 1997's 'Black Science'.

"On guitar, we have Pedro Howse, who has been on both of Geezer's previous solo releases in 1995 and 1997. He was also involved with Geezer back in 1985 when Geezer first tried to put together a solo project under the moniker of 'THE GEEZER BUTLER BAND.'

"Manning the drumkit and forming the rhythm section with Geezer is newcomer Chad Smith, a drummer from the St. Louis area described as 'incredible.'

"Also involved on the production side as the album's mixer is Toby Wright. Toby has been involved with a lot of high profile bands such as SLAYER, ALICE IN CHAINS, PRIMUS, JERRY CANTRELL, and SEVENDUST.

"The band will be marketed as 'GZR'. This is kind of amusing as on the 'Plastic Planet' album the band was marketed as 'G//Z/R', and on 'Black Science' as 'GEEZER'. So it'll have to be some other combination on his next album.

"I hope to have album cover art shortly (within a week or so), when I get that, I'll repost with the cover art (or any other 'Ohmwork' information I get)."
