J'ai pas retrouvé le topic Angel Dust (perdu dans la faille spatio-temporelle?) alors c'est reparti pour des nouvelles de ce groupe fantabuleux, en particulier la direction du prochain album!

L'album est repoussé en conséquence.

ANGEL DUST have announced ex-EVERFLOW vocalist Carsten Kaiser as their new frontman, replacing the band's original singer Dirk Thurisch. Due to this change the recordings for the new album have been pushed back. Pre-production is due to begin soon, with studio time booked for March 2006. According to drummer Dirk Assmuth the new material will be a return to the sound on Angel Dust's Enlighten The Darkness album.

du coup je suis moins pressé de l'entendre le nouvel Angel Dust

German power metallers ANGEL DUST have recruited ex-EVERFLOW vocalist Carsten Kaiser as the replacement for the band's previous singer, Dirk Thurisch. As a result of this lineup change, the recordings for the group's new album have been pushed back to March 2006. A tentative late summer 2006 release is expected.




According to guitarist Bernd Aufermann (RUNNING WILD), the new material will be a return to the sound on ANGEL DUST's "Enlighten the Darkness" album (released in 2000). "I'm VERY satisfied with the way the guitar will approach in the music and the material is, in my opinion, the best we'd ever written," Bernd wrote in a recent online posting.

D'un autre côté, je connais pas le nouveau...
Et Thurisch était très bon c'est sûr, mais tout le groupe ne reposait pas sur lui, 'fin c'est pas comme si Warrel Dane quittait Nevermore par exemple... Donc je reste confiant, même avec quelqu'un d'autre y'a moyen que la magie d'Enlighten remarche... on verra bien

Ils ont trouvé un nouveau bassiste et l'albim est toujours prévu dans le courant de l'année.


According to their website, German power metallers ANGEL DUST have announced the addition of new bassist Christian Pohlmann from Essen, Germany. Pohlmann is the official replacement for Frank Banx, who parted ways with the band in October 2003.

Angel Dust are set to enter the studio this month to record the follow-up to their 2002 album Of Human Bondage. Drummer Dirk Assmuth has said that the new material will be a return to the sound on Angel Dust's Enlighten The Darkness album.

The new album will be called " VII", whom is quite obvious. The seventh album will released in 2007. A exact date is not certain yet, the recordings makes very slow progress.

German power metallers ANGEL DUST have issued the following update:

"After all the name of the new album will not be 'VII', because in the last year there were so many releases from other bands with exactly the same title. The name of the new album is not certain yet. Carsten (Kaiser) has now started the vocal recording (nice that we are one step closer to the release). ANGEL DUST will also play on June 7th at the Century Media Yardsale. They will not play a complete set (they haven't had enough time for rehearsing) but they will play a few titles. TURISAS will also be there."

Je sens qu'on va être déçu, Human Bondage étant quand même le moins bon de tous, et puis y a plus THE chanteur ...

Faudrait vraiment que le nouveau sois super balaise, et qu'il y ai plus de claviers que dans Human Bondage ... j'y crois pas trop ...

tant que ça reste du Angel dust, ça reste bonard. j'suis impatient

Il a également reformé son groupe solo, Mercury Tide.
