Je n'ai jamais écouté, mais il paraît que c'est un excellent groupe de thrash. Ils prévoient de sortir un triple CD contenant des inédits, du matériel live... et ils sont en train de bosser sur un nouvel album pour début 2006.

Acclaimed Los Angeles thrashers HOLY TERROR have reformed and are said to have a three-CD box set coming out on Candlelight Records featuring outtakes, live stuff, video footage and a general overview of the band.
The band have been rehearsing and writing new material with a view
towards releasing a new album in 2006.

HOLY TERROR were formed in the mid-1980s by guitarist Kurt Colfelt
(a.k.a. Kurt Kilfelt; ex-AGENT STEEL) and ex-DARK ANGEL drummer Jack
Schwarz, who left before the release of the band's first album, 1987's
"Terror and Submission". A follow-up effort, "Mind Wars", was issued in
1988.

Ils cherchent un chanteur et devraient bientôt faire une tournée européenne. Ils ont aussi signé un deal chez Candlelight, et devraient sortir un disque nommé "Stillborn" contenant des inédits, des morceaux live et des vidéos.


Reformed Seattle-based speed metal band HOLY TERROR are once again looking for a lead singer following a brief stint with a relative newcomer by the name of Aaron Redbird.

"We entered the studio to demo some tracks and it became apparent that although Aaron Redbird is a great singer, his style was not what the band really needs," guitarist Kurt Colfelt (a.k.a. Kurt Kilfelt; ex-AGENT STEEL) told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "He's a great guy and we wish him well, but now we're officially back in the hunt."

All vocalists interested in auditioning for HOLY TERROR should send an e-mail to kurt@holyterrorspeedmetal.com.

In other news, HOLY TERROR have signed a merchandising deal with Plastichead in the U.K. "This will make available two shirt designs for our friends in Europe," says Colfelt. "One shirt is the classic snake and cross the other will have bones logo from the old records on it . We hope to have shirts available through the web site in the near future for America."

As previously reported, HOLY TERROR have set "Stillborn" as the title of their upcoming CD box set, tentatively due in early 2006 on Candlelight Records. The set will feature never-before-heard remixes, outtakes, live stuff and video footage.

In addition to Colfelt, the group's current lineup includes Jeff Matz (bass, ZEKE), Joe Mitchell (drums) and Matt Fox (guitar, ex-BITTER END).

Bon ben s'il n'y a plus leur ancien chanteur je ne suis pas intéressé, il avait une voix trop originale pour être remplacée... s'ils veulent se reformer qu'ils le fassent bien bordel

Leur deux albums sont d'excellents albums de thrash (de grands albums je dirais même) , et Kurt Kolfeld cartonnait déjà avant chez Agent Steel période Skeptic Apocalypse.

Espérons que leur nouveau chanteur sera meilleur que le nouveau chanteur d'Exodus ou d'Annihilator....

Un nouveau chanteur... mouais...
Ils ont pas interêt à pondre un mauvais album... Ca commence à me faire très peur toutes ces reformations de groupes cultes... Mais si je pouvais les voir sur scène, je pense que je craquerais mon slip! (même sans Keith Deen, mais pas autant que si il était là...)

Je viens de découvrir ce groupe avec la chanson Debt of Pain, et bordel, c'était tout un chanteur celui-là. Rien à voir avec ces gueuleurs de caca sans personnalité qu'on trouve à notre époque.

Keith Deen est décédé RIP

Je vois le sujet je me dis non !! c'est pas possible !! je l'ouvre et je vois qu'il est daté de juillet 2005 ...

La putain de sa mère, comme c'est une mauvaise nouvelle. Je suis un fanatique de la voix de ce mec. HOLY TERROR était juste énormissime, dommage qu'ils n'aient pas poussé plus loin. Leurs démos et albums sont énormes.

Un chanteur de folie en effet, on sent son influence sur toi sur le premier album de Résistance.

Pas mieux, ce chanteur était totalement unique en son genre dans le thrash. Maintenant c'est foutu pour une vraie reformation...

With great sadness I just learned from Kurt Colfelt that original HOLY TERROR singer Keith Deen passed away yesterday. It would have been a dream to do them with him at a future Keep It True festival...too bad all the great musicians die so early. We will never forget him and will always listen to these great Holy Terror masterpieces...RIP Keith

Sadly Keith lost his battle with cancer in 2012 and we offer this release as tribute to him. The DLP features the band's amazing 1986 demo, carefully mastered for vinyl from the original analog source as well as two complete, unreleased live soundboard recordings from the band's extensive touring days! Spread over 2 LPs, we present this thrash classic gem in a 350 gram gatefold jacket featuring cover artwork from Rick Araluce, who painted both covers for the band's 2 full length albums "Terror and Submission" and "Mind Wars" as well as their "El Revengo" compilation. Also included are new extensive liner notes from the original band members, album cover artist Rick Araluce and band historian Scott Lambert, as well as a forward by A.A. Yep, d'ailleurs je vais voir si du monde dans le coin (ou que je vois sous peu, KIT ou autre) est interessé par une commande groupée, parce que les ports douillent un max, j'ai renoncé à commander il y a une semaine pour ça... mais bon j'aimerais bien le choper quand même.
