Ca faisait quatre ans qu'on n'avait plus entendu parler de cet excellent groupe de black/death suédois. Ils viennent de signer chez Regain et préparent un nouvel album au titre imprononçable :D :bang:

Swedish death metallers NECROPHOBIC have inked a deal with Regain Records for the release of their fifth album, entitled "Hrimthursum". The follow-up to 2002's "Bloodhymns" is being recorded at the Dark Voodoo Studio with engineers Anders Bentell and Fredrik Folkare (guitarist and producer of UNLEASHED) and is tentatively due later in the year.

"Hrimthursum" (a word taken from the old Norse mythology which means "The Frost Giants") will feature the following track listing (in no particular order):

01. Slaughter of Baby Jesus
02. Branded by Light, Enlightened by Darkness
03. Eternal Winter
04. The Crossing
05. I Strike with Wrath
06. Vril
07. Sitra Ahra
08. Bitter Cold Blizzard
09. Serpents (Beneath the Forest of the Dead)
10. Age of Chaos
11. Death Immaculate
12. Black Hate

NECROPHOBIC had previously performed the track "Branded by Light, Enlightened by Darkness" at the Party.San Open Air festival in Germany.

It was predictable for some after what happened with Necrophobic's frontman Tobias Sidegård who got a six-month prison sentence for abuse but the Swedish death metal band and their label Season Of Mist have now posted a statement announcing that the band will proceed without Tobias and search for a new vocalist.

Statement from the band: "Tobias is no longer a member of Necrophobic. The verdict following his trial regrettably left us, the band, with no other choice. As stated before, Necrophobic do not accept or tolerate domestic violence in any way. We will now search for a replacement. Tobias will make a statement of his own within the next couple of days, which he will publish on his Facebook page."

This whole ordeal happened at a time the band has a new album, Womb Of Lilithu, set for release this month.

Un autre "vieux" titre qui tabasse. Très drôles les poses du chanteur.

10ème album.
Swedish blackened death metal masters, Necrophobic, have released their 10th studio album, In The Twilight Grey, via Century Media Records.

To celebrate the release, Necrophobic is now sharing a brand new music video for the single, "Mirrors of a Thousand Lakes". The footage was taken from one of the band's rare club shows at M.A.U. Club in Germany back in January 2024 by Paloosa Productions. The performance had such a positive impact on the band that they decided to preserve it and turn it into a “road video” that happened in the magic of the moment that evening.
