Je crée un topic différent de Bercy, car les premieres dates mondiales viennent d'être annoncées, comme d'habitude ca débute par la Scandinavie
Et quelques news du prochain album en même temps.



To herald the start off their 2006-7 World Tour, IRON MAIDEN announce their Scandinavian Tour dates for November. In an attempt to satisfy the insatiable demand, this will include multiple dates in Stockholm and Helsinki following the massive success of last Summer's concerts in Scandinavia where all 95,000 tickets sold out almost immediately and where they made history in Gothenburg by selling out all 55,000 tickets for Ullevi Stadium in just two and half hours! The concert was also transmitted all across Scandinavia on terrestrial television. This will be Maiden's 10th appearance at Gothenburg's Scandinavium - yet another record breaker which no other band, international or domestic, has surpassed in the venues history.

Tickets for the Oslo and Bergen shows will go sale on Saturday February 25th
at 10.00am. Tickets for Sweden and Finland will go on sale for at 9.00am on Monday February 27th while the Danish dates will go on sale at 10.00am on Monday 27th February.

The Iron Maiden Fan Club have made special arrangements with EMA Telstar and their Associates to allow 120 of their fc members to gain special entry to each concert, which will allow them to get right at the front of the stage! Due to Production considerations there will be no support act on the first two tour dates in Denmark but on all the other dates Maiden have confirmed up and coming US band TRIVIUM as their special guests.

Iron Maiden are currently writing material for their new, as yet untitled fourteenth studio album which will be released later in the year prior to the tour. The live show will of course include new album material, and will be in full Maiden tradition - spectacular stage production, sound and lights ... and, of course, Eddie!!

Says Steve Harris, 'We had a fantastic time and a lot of fun last year playing songs from our early albums. However, Maiden is all about pushing ourselves creatively and keeping fresh, so we're all charged up to make a great studio album together with Kevin Shirley and take it out on the road at the end of the year.

These Scandinavian dates herald the start of Maiden's new album World Tour which will take them around parts of Europe through to Christmas - playing selected dates in other parts of the World in the new year.

According to MaidenFans.com, IRON MAIDEN's November 23, 2006 concert at the 8,000-capacity Vestlandshallen in Bergen, Norway sold out in 20 minutes after tickets went on sale this past Saturday (Feb. 25).

Commented Frank Nes of local concert promoters Bergen Live, "We already knew that MAIDEN was going to sell out very fast, but we didnt know how fast and I didn't expect it to sell out in 20 minutes."

As previously reported, all 9,000 tickets to IRON MAIDEN's November 20, 2006 headlining concert at Scandinavium in Gothenburg, Sweden were sold within an hour of going on sale Monday morning (Feb. 27). The two shows at Stockholm's Globen (November 17-18, 2006; capacity believed to be around 14,000 per night) were completely sold out within two and a half hours of going on sale, according to Aftonbladet.se.

IRON MAIDEN are currently writing material for their new, as-yet-untitled fourteenth studio album which will be released later in the year prior to the tour. Quand je vous dis que les places vont partir à tout berzingue.
Ca mettra peut être 20 jours et pas 20 minutes mais je doute qu'au bout de trois semaines passé le 6 Mars, il reste grand chose.

Si c'est le cas, il décideront peut-être de faire une 2e date. La suéde y'a droit, alors pourquoi pas la france, surtout que Paris est l'un des endroits préférés de Steve Harris
(d'après ce qu'il a dit dans une interview, après dit-il ça de la capitale dans lequel se passe l'interview , perso je ne penses pas. Sinon, ils auraient pas fait le Parc des Princes l'an dernier)

Il faudra peut-être préparer votre carte bancaire, les amis, si vous ne voulez pas vous retrouver SIMF...d'ailleurs, c'est ce que je vais faire lundi.

Je veux pas vous faire redescendre sur terre, mais quels groupes Metal voit ses places partir à fond en même pas un mois en France ?
A part AC/DC je vois pas.
Que je sache, Maiden n'ont pas rempli à bloc les deux derniers Bercy (enfin un des deux y avait que 13 000 c'est sur), et leurs places ne sont jamais parties en 2 jours...

Y a que AC/DC, les Stones, U2, Mylene Farmer, Goldman, pour eclater les ventes en quelques heures/jours.

Ca sera certainement complet sur la fin, mais je pense pas en 1 mois.
Si je me trompe tant mieux pour le groupe et le Metal en général, mais bon...

C'est clair. Faudra voir si ce sera l'unique date en France ou non. C'est en 2000 ou c'était pas plein. en 2003 les 2 bercy étaient sold out ; le 1er 1 ou 2 mois avant le show; le 2ème : quelques jours avant. Mais bon le groupe avait fait cette année 3 dates en province qui ont aussi bien marché.

Si c'est l'unique show en France, méfiez vous quand même !

Maiden restera Maiden même si les albums sont un peu moyen sur scène ils restent un groupe fantastique..

In acknowledgement of the 25th anniversary of the release of their seminal album "The Number of the Beast" and the tremendous International success of their recent album "A Matter of Life and Death", IRON MAIDEN'S forthcoming June dates in Europe will go under the banner of A MATTER OF THE BEAST SUMMER TOUR 07. The band will be playing 5 songs from each of these albums plus other fan favourites and will be taking out a full on stage production which will include the final appearances of Eddie's notorious tank!!

Says vocalist Bruce Dickinson; " Its always a lot of fun for us to play outdoors in the summer. It tends to be a different vibe to playing indoors, much more of a party atmosphere so its good to put together a set list that matches this. There has been a lot of interest in the 25th anniversary of the release of Number of the Beast so we thought it would be great to give the fans a bit of extra Beast this summer to acknowledge this"

Tu as raison....j'ai fais Koritni, Hammerfall, Saxon, Depp Purple et Rose Tattoo ces derniers temps tu y étais? je vais faire 2 dates de Motorhead et les Gods of Métal..... Tu y sera?

Tu vois je ne fais pas que Bercy et le SDF je n'hésite pas à bouffer du train, de l'avion et de la bagnole et du pognon depuis 20 ans

En tout cas ca risque d'être une tournée chouettos et, oui, vivement le early years part 2

apparemment il n'y a pas qu'en france où ça craint. Ils viennent de déplacer le show de duisburg (30000 places) à dusseldorf (13000 places) ... Pour des raisons douteuses lol étant donné qu'ils avaient vendus moins de 10000 billets à ce jour ...

sinon à part ça je vais peut être faire un tour à bilbao (68 € sur francebillet). L'affiche est sympatoche (juliette & the licks, mastodon, within temptation)
