Chitral Somapala et PE forment CIVILIZATION ONE

L'ancien chanteur de Avalon et Firewind (entre autres) s'est associé avec notre PE national et des musiciens de Secret Sphere pour un groupe pluri-nationalités. La description par Chity est prometteuse si elle se concrétise

Chitral "Chity" Somapala, the Sri Lankan vocalist who has previously fronted such groups as AVALON, FIREWIND, FARO and RED CIRCUIT, has announced the formation of a new "atmospheric, bone-crushing power metal" band called CIVILIZATION ONE. Joining Somapala in the group's international lineup are Aldo Lanobile (guitar; SECRET SPHERE), Luca Cartasegna (drums; ex-SECRET SPHERE, MORTUARY DRAPE), Vivian Lalu (keyboards; LALU, SHADRANE), Pierre-Emmanuel Pélisson (bass; ex-HEAVENLY, MALADAPTIVE).
Commented Somapala: "If you enjoy, the prowess of early METALLICA/MEGADETH with more electricity than CHILDREN OF BODOM and the emotions of EVERGREY, then you're on for a winner here! This band has it all, and are going to create carnage! Be prepared to get fully blown away by bone-crushing, skull-breaking metal (beware, there is no cheese involved with this). This chapter of metal has only just begun."

Un extrait de chanson y figure, en version pré-production, absolument pas la version définitive (donc le son étant ce qu'il est !).
C'est un morceau très mélodique, mais il y aura des choses également bien plus heavy sur l'album.
On devrait enregistrer ce premier album vraisemblablement cet été

L'enregistrement du premier album va commencer ce mois-ci
CIVILIZATION ONE, the international musical entity creating timeless heavy metal with neoclassical, symphonic aggression, will begin the recording sessions for its debut album, "Revolution Rising", this month. Guitarist Aldo Lanobile (SECRET SPHERE) and drummer Luca Cartasegna (ex-SECRET SPHERE) will begin laying down their tracks in Alessandria, Italy at Secret Sphere Studios, where keyboards will be recorded as well. Bassist Pierre-Emmanuel Pélisson (MALADAPTIVE; ex-HEAVENLY) will be recording his tracks at his studio in France. The band itself will be producing these sessions. After all of the instrumental tracks are finished, singer Chity Somapala (RED CIRCUIT, FARO; Ex-FIREWIND) will be recording his vocals at Bazement Studios in Germany, with Markus Teske (VANDEN PLAS, SYMPHONY X) producing.
CIVILIZATION ONE's "Revolution Rising" will feature nine songs and is scheduled for an early 2007 release date. The band is in discussions with several prominent record labels, and a deal will be announced in the near future. More information and music can be found at this location.

Quelques news sur l'avancement de l'album. La batterie, toute les guitares et les synthés sont enregistrés, et je viens de finir la basse.
Chity va maintenant enregistrer le chant au Bazement Studio en Allemagne, et Markus Teske (Vanden Plas, Symphony X) va mixer le tout dans ce même studio.

Putain j'adore la voix de Chity, dans moonlight agony il m'a fait headbanguer un moment. J'ai hâte que civilization one nous sorte cet opus.

Chity vient également de rejoindre les allemands de DOMAIN.
German melodic metal band DOMAIN has announced the addition of vocalist Chity Somapala (ex-FIREWIND, AVALON, FARO) and bassist Steven Wussow (SHYLOCK) to the group's ranks. The band's new lineup will make its live debut on December 30 at the End of Dayz festival in Pratteln, Switzerland.

L'album "Revolution Rising" est bientôt fini. Chity est en train d'en finir avec le chant, il restera le mixage. Néanmoins un morceau est mixé (car il doit figurer sur une la compile Progpower UK) et disponible en écoute ici

On vient de signer avec Metal Heaven, l'album sortira en juin.
CIVILIZATION ONE, an international musical entity which features in its ranks vocalist Chity Somapala (ex-FIREWIND, AVALON), guitarist Aldo Lanobile (SECRET SPHERE), drummer Luca Cartasegna (ex-SECRET SPHERE), and bassist Pierre-Emmanuel Pélisson (MALADAPTIVE; ex-HEAVENLY), has signed a deal with Metal Heaven Records (RIOT, WINTERS BANE, BLOODBOUND, CLOUDSCAPE, CHRIS CAFFERY, ALTARIA, etc.). The group's debut album, "Revolution Rising", will be released in June.
CIVILIZATION ONE produced itself and recorded "Revolution Rising" at studios in France, Italy, and Germany, with mixing and mastering by Markus Teske (VANDEN PLAS, DOMINICI, SYMPHONY X) at Bazement Studios in Germany. The CD will feature 10 songs, including "Life of Agony", "Legends of the Past (Carry On)", and "Time Will Tell".
