C'est le retour des tatas suédoises avec un nouvel album le 21 avril

Swedish sleaze rockers HARDCORE SUPERSTAR will release their new, self-titled album in continental Europe on April 21. A release party will be held on April 19 at White Trash in Berlin, Germany.

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR's promotional video for their new single, "We Don't Celebrate Sundays", has been posted online at this location (Quicktime required). The song comes off the band's latest effort, which was released in Sweden in early November on the Gain label. The group's first single off the new CD, "Wild Boys", was released last June 2005 in Sweden, where it reached position No. 11 on the single chart.

"Hardcore Superstar" was nominated for a Swedish "Grammy" in the "Best Hard Rock" category.

Cet album est fabuleux, il fait banguer du cul, c'est festif, c'est chaud les marrons, des suédois qui font du hard rock US rien que dans l'idée ca me plait. Un must pour les jours de déprime

En plus y sont en concert au transbo de lyon ce dimanche 8 octobre.

Le nouvel album se fait toujours attndre (repoussé à l'automne), par contre un single est en écoute sur leur MySpace


Swedish sleaze rockers HARDCORE SUPERSTAR will have posted their new single, "Bastards" , at their MySpace page. The single will be released in Sweden on June 6 via Gain.

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR recently posted a demo version of a new song, entitled "Sophisticated Ladies", on their MySpace page. The track comes off the group's recently recorded 14-song demo of material that will appear on the band's upcoming studio album. Other new songtitles include "Lesson in Violence", "Sensitive to the Light" and "Dreamin' in a Casket". The new full-length CD is expected to surface in the fall.

J'ai la chanson "dreaming in a casket" sur le sampler rockhard et elle est excellente! Quel titre! un vrai single qui rentre dans la tête comme l'épée de Conan dans l'aine de ses ennemis! J'aime beaucoup!

après une bonne poignée d'écoute je trouve ce nouvel album plutôt pas mal, pas de grande avancé, le groupe assure plutôt la continuité, peut-être moins de gros hits sur ce disque que sur le précédent mais un son de gratte à tomber par terre.

@ halowed8 : pas tout à fait d'accord avec toi, comme je le disai dans un autre topic HS garde sur chaque album une base GLAM/SLEAZE à laquelle il donne une orientation différente. Orientation ROCK sur Thank you... orientation Pop sur No Regrets etc.

Le guitariste quitte le groupe. Il en a marre des tournées. La tournée européenne à venir n'en est pas annulée pour autant puisqu'il a un remplaçant temporaire.



HARDCORE SUPERSTAR guitarist Thomas Silver announced yesterday that he is tired of music and touring and will leave the Swedish act immediately. The remaining bandmembers accept his decision respectfully and they are separating as best friends.

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR will continue its successful world tour with the help of temporary guitar player Vic Zino from the band CRAZY LIXX. The group has also launched a search for an axeman to replace Silver permanently.
