Ca a l'air pas mal, mais il me manque la patte de Tony Iommi!! Tant pis! Menfin, ça m'empèchera pas d'aller l'acheter, demain!

Je l'ai acheté il y a peu et contrairement à beaucoup je suis un poil déçu. Je préfère Soul Mover que j'aime beaucoup que je trouve plus péchu, plus rapide.

Glenn hugues c'est un peu ça, il fait jamais 2 fois le même album, il va même parfois à l'opposé de ce qu'il a fait précédement. Moi aussi j'ai adoré "Soul Mover", je m'attends donc à peut être un peu déçu mais je l'acheterai quand même, ce gars est une légende vivante !

Après l'avoir bien écouté finalement je le trouve vachement bien. Différent du précédent, moins groovy dans l'ensemble et très soft-rock par moment mais avec une telle voix et un tel sens de la mélodie, c'est quand même bien difficile d'y résister. Mention spéciale à Nights in White Satin (très 70ies, voire limite Black Sab') et à The divine.

Vraiment bien en fait, puis de toute manière c'est forcément bien au-dessus de tous les albums plus ou moins dispensables qui inondent nos oreilles et qui seront oubliés en quelques semaines.

bon bah je l'ai cet album et après quelques écoutes je le trouve pas trop mal, je préfère quand même ces 2 précédents album qui était beaucoup plus "hard". Là ça groove sèvére et y'a aussi pas mal de ballades. sur les 11 titres y'a quand même 6 qui sortent du lot.

"Hughes Thrall", acknowledged as one of the finest albums of Hughes' career, was released on Boulevard Records in 1982, toppping the U.S. import charts before being issued in the U.K. on Epic in January 1983.

Glenn Hughes and Pat Thrall have been working on the sophomore HUGHES/THRALL album, tentatively due next year. Asked why it has taken so long for a follow-up effort to appear, Hughes told Rockdetector.com earlier in the year, "In truth, we were both [Hughes and guitarist Pat Thrall] fucked up. Let's not try to hide that fact. We made an awesome funk rock record but we just could not follow it up. It's always been there though, people still keep talking about it so obviously, at some point, it would come up again.

"I finally got around to meeting up with Pat again in New York during 2000 and we started writing for a new HUGHES/THRALL album. When the 9/11 disaster happened though in 2001 I just couldn't go to New York after that. Finally Pat relocated to Las Vegas and since then we've been writing again, meeting up and it's happening. We've got 13 incredible, late night, funky, organic jazz rock songs ready. It's very diverse, very intense. Pat has to add some guitar, get them mixed and we're hoping to launch the second stage of HUGHES/THRALL later this year. Actually, we're not going to start shopping this record until September. It's an important one so we need a strong worldwide deal. It has to be the right label."

Non seulement ça mais un , deuxieme album de Hughes/Thrall est prévu....24 ans apres le premier!!!

J'aime bien Hughes/Thrall mais j'attends beaucoup du remixage car ca a pris un fichu coup de vieux au niveau du son..

Oui, je sais, mon message est déplacé.J'ai beaucoup aimé "Soul Mover" et j'en ai offert plusieurs à mes amis.
Well, comme je ne savais pas où placer mon message, j'y vais : Le dernier MOTORHEAD.... Mais que sont-ils devenus? Je viens d'acheter le dernier, on dirait des faces B du début à la fin...heureusement qu'il y a les solos... Lemmy, j'ai tous tes disques! Que m'as-tu fais? (snifff...)

In early 2006, Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) gave a phenomenal show in Melbourne, Australia with JJ Marsh on guitar and Lachlan Doley on keyboards. Glenn Hugues a désormais une salle à son nom en Serbie où le maire de la ville de Dimitrovgrad est un grand fan!

Legendary bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) will play a show on May 9 in Dimitrovgrad, Serbia, which is about 50 km from Sofia, Bulgaria. The concert will take place in a new hall in the city, and Glenn's show — as it will be the first concert at the new hall — will act as an inauguration for the hall. Today it was announced by the Mayor of Dimitrovgrad that the new hall has been officially named the "Glenn Hughes Music Hall."

Commented Hughes: "I am full of gratitude to have a public building named in my honor. I want to thank the Mayor and the good people of Serbia. May the 'Glenn Hughes Music Hall' be filled with great memories in the years to come."

Clair que la mise en page est lourde, fade et uniformisée, mais pour écouter et découvrir ça reste pratique

Voici une nouvelle interview de Glenn où il révèle qu'il a commencé à discuter d'une éventuelle reformation de Deep Purple MKIII avec Jon Lord et Coverdale. Affaire à suivre, des fois que les autres suivent! ça me paraît difficile à l'heure actuelle, mais sait-on jamais, c'est pas impossible...

ce dernier disait être tout partant pour une reformation de Purple à la condition sine qua non que Ritchie Blackmore soit de la partie.

Tain si ça devait se faire (quoique j'en doute vu que Blackmore ferme régulièrement la porte à toute rumeur de reformation "électrique") je pense que je pourrais mourir tranquille après les avoir vus.

WHITESNAKE/ex-DEEP PURPLE frontman David Coverdale has responded to a recent Glenn Hughes (ex-DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) interview in which Hughes indicated that Coverdale has shown interest in a reunion of DEEP PURPLE's Mark III lineup.

Said Coverdale: "As disappointed as some may be, I am disappointed to have to keep repeating this, I have not agreed in any way, shape or form, to a reformation of DEEP PURPLE Mark III, and my soul brother should be aware of that after our repeated conversations. Those of you who have followed and supported my for many years know how I feel about 'going back.' The only consideration, as I have said repeatedly in interviews, would be by willingness to be involved in a 'one-off' charity show which would feature all surviving members of DEEP PURPLE.

"As you all know who co-habit this little oasis of ours, I am entirely devoted to my band WHITESNAKE and have plans and ideas for the band that will take me as far as my rapidly maturing legs will allow and then some. I have nothing but the fondest and totally appreciative memories of my time spent with PURPLE and all the incredible adventures that continue to this day, related entirely to the opportunities I was given by the band. But, now it's WHITESNAKE time, as far as I am concerned, and I am dedicated to fulfilling all my hopes, wishes and dreams to ensuring quality work for all involved in the SNAKE, and, along with the time I need to be with my family at home. That pretty much fills my years in the most satisfying way. If indeed there is a reformation, then I wish them every success, and perhaps WHITESNAKE could 'special guest' them somewhere!"
