Oulah ca revient de loin ce nom de groupe, j'ai l'album The Cainian Chronicle à la maison, ça fait longtemps que je me le suis pas mis, mais dans mon souvenir c'etait plutôt pas mal je crois.

It has been almost 10 years since the last studio album release (Night Visit) from Norwegian melodic black metal horde Ancient. Now the band is pleased to announce the plans for their new upcoming effort, tentatively to be released sometime between June and September, 2014.

The band comments: "The band will start recording new album, the 7th album of Ancient, in the middle of February, in Como (northern Italy). It will be ready for mastering in the end of march, which means that the album will be ready for the release sometime between June and September, 2014."

With 12 years since the release of Night Visit, the Norwegian extreme metallers Ancient are proud to announce the release of Back To The Land Of The Dead, due out February 2016 through Alpha Omega Management, which the band recently signed a global contract to.

Frontman Zel comments: "Finally, the album is ready!! The new album of Ancient, Back To The Land Of The Dead, was mastered today by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios in Finland. So, the album is 100% ready now. We will launch news about release date, label, teaser, new video, tour dates etc etc. in about 2 weeks from now."

About the artwork, Zel continues: "The cover shows a hooded figure standing in a passage. He has been away a long time, and is now returning from his journey. The place is crowded with people that are now some kind of "spiritual zombies", he has come back to the place he was born, to "wake them up", and he thinks of this place as the "land of the (spiritual) dead". This is actually what we are doing, in a way."

C'est con mais cette pochette et ce logo m'évoque tant de choses, la fin des années 90 et toute la scène black metal via Osmode prod...du coup, c'est con, mais j'ai d'un coup envie de l'acheter.

Autant le 1er 45 trs, Svartalvheim et Trolltaar sont des tueries autant le reste de la disco est a chier par terre. En fait c'est simple des que le 1er batteur Grimm s'est tiré Aphazel n'a fait que des morceaux moisis. Du coup je n'attends rien de ce nouvel album alors que c'etait un de mes groupes favoris de la scene bm du debut 90
