plus grand chose de bon depuis wishmaster, j'ai trouvé leurs 2 derniers opus décevant. dommage, mais avec la sale manie qu'ils avaient pris de chier sur leurs 1ers albums, ils commençaient à sévèrement m'énerver.
Pour Tarja, et satan sait que j'adorais sa voix, il semble que le metal n'a jamais été qu'une source de financement et de renommée. C'est mort pour qu'on la retrouve cantatrice attritrée d'un groupe de heavy-speed-mélodique-machin-truc.
Quand au reste de la formation, je doute... j'aimais bien le batteur (quoique techniquement je ne peux pas juger) et les compos étaient quand même toutes de tuomas, mais le gratteux, à part la boulangerie, je lui vois pas trop de débouchés...
j'espère juste qu'un jour apparaîtra un digne successeur de leur période elvenpath.
Reste à voir ce qu'à à proposer la future nouvelle chanteuse, 'faut pas condamner avant d'avoir pu jauger (je parle à ceux qui aimaient, hein, les autres de toutes façon s'en tamponnent le cocquillard)

C'est la relève du metal !
Ils vont prendre quelqu'un de mieux foutu, faire un clip avec des nibards et un morceau avec des orchestras hits de partout.
Nightwish fera la BO d'un film d'action, le succès sera planétaire.
Les anciens fans traitront les nouveaux de fölses oines, de trends et autres noms de piafs.
Le groupe mourra dans d'atroces souffrances, le metal avec, et 10 après on parlera encore d'un hypothéthique album de reformation.

Tarja fait ses premiers commentaires: la diva se dit "dévastée"
Ex-NIGHTWISH frontwoman Tarja Turunen has commented on her former bandmates' decision to fire her following the final show of their "Once" world tour, which took place on Friday, October 21 in Helsinki, Finland. Writing to the fan site Tarja Turunen Fan , Tarja said, "I don't have words to express my feelings at the moment. I am devastated. This thing happened in a way that I didn't have a slight chance to give my opinion about it. I got fired out of a band that represents the last nine years of my life and I am very sad about it. It has been very cruel the way the band handled this in public. This doesn't change the fact that we were doing amazing music together, but I will never forget the fact that they didn't give me the chance to say goodbye for the people as a NIGHTWISH singer.
"I love you and I really hope to see you soon in my concerts. Thank you very much for your kind words and support. I will never forget you."
NIGHTWISH recorded the final show of the "Once" world tour for an upcoming live release, appropriately titled "End of an Era". A NIGHTWISH book, which promises to reveal in greater detail the circumstances behind Tarja's departure, is scheduled to be published in May.

j'aime bien nightwish,once et pour moi un tres bon album et même si tarja a une belle voix mais y peuvent la remlacer sans problème.Dans pas mal d'interwiev du groupe que j'ai lu on la sentait pas tres impliqué depuis pas mal de temps et n'a jamais rien composé.

Tuomas précise bien qu'il a l'exclusivité sur les droits du nom de Nightwish. Précision intéressante: les intérêts des quatre membres du groupe hors Tarja étaient gérés par une société indépendante, qui s'occupe aussi du merchandising de Nightwish. Par contre, les intérêts de la diva éaient confiés à la société de son mari.

In the wake of the sacking of the group's lead singer, Tarja Turunen, in the form of an "open letter" posted on the band's web site, NIGHTWISH mainman/keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen told the Finnish news agency STT on Monday (Oct. 24) that he and he alone owns the rights to the group's name.
The four male musicians of the band manage their business affairs through Scene Nation, a company founded in December 2003. The NIGHTWISH shop, part of Scene Nation, sells the records, videos, T-shirts and other merchandise to fans of the band.
"Tarja [Turunen] takes care of her business through the company of her husband," Holopainen told STT. Turunen's husband, Marcelo Cabuli, acts as his wife's manager.
Scene Nation had sales of 2.26 million euros (approx. $2.7 million) between October 2003 and the end of 2004. Profit had reached 1.4 million euros (approx. $1.67 million). The company has accrued debt of 580,000 euros (approx. $693,000).

C'est marrant, y'a une époque où cette nouvelle m'aurait anéanti ! Alors que là je m'en fous à moitié (une bonne moitié même)...
A la limite je suis même soulagé, Nightwish c'est fini pour moi... Je ne me poserai plus la question "bon allez je leur donne une dernière chance" ?

Finalement je m'en fous de ce départ. Au début quand j'ai découvert ce groupe j'étais fan mais depuis ça m'a passé. J'ai même pas acheté leur dernier album "once".
Enfin s'ils trouvent une nouvelle chanteuse j'y jeterai quand même un coup d'oeil, pour voir ce que ça donne. mais on en est pas encore là!

Oui c'est vrai qu'il paraît qu'on entend mieux avec une oreille qu'avec l'oeil
