Les thrashers enregistrent leur nouvel album avec Peter Tagtgren, ce qui annonce un retour au son de AHBL/Antichrist après un Metal Discharge plus cru à ce niveau-là.

ça sort en Août chez AFM Records, juste après leur concert du Wacken

Et ils sont à Paris bientôt au RIFF Festival le 22 Mai à la Loco, il ne faut pas l'oublier

Ainsi qu'à Selestat dans l'Est le 11 Juin en compagnie de KILLERS, MYSTERY BLUE et HACHOIR.

Over a customary beer or several, DESTRUCTION mainman Schmier told BW&BK that the new album will be available in August, the Monday after their Wacken Open Air appearance (a day later in North America), through new label AFM. According to the Teutonic giant, the as yet still unnamed platter will be an international affair, with recording taking place in Germany and Switzerland, before heading to Sweden, to mix (once again) with Peter Tagtgren (HYPOCRISY/PAIN), then off to master at Finland's Finnvox studios.

"Since we know all these places are good for a particular part of the overall sound, we'd be foolish not to maximize our efforts." One track will include plenty of guest vocalists, "old friends, my heroes and some newer guys too," promised the bassist.

L'album s'appelle Inventor of Evil et la pochette marquera le retour du mad butcheeeeer

At the moment 'our boys' are recording the new album, 'Inventor of Evil', together with Peter Tätgtren, V.O. Pulver and their live engineer Franky Winkelmann.

Three different studios in Germany, Switzerland and Sweden will be involved in the production process!

The mix will be done by Mr. Tätgtren at the Abyss Studios in Sweden.

Release date for Europe will be August 15th on the new label AFM Records. In the rest of the world the new masterpiece will be released a little later this summer.

It looks like some surprise guest will be featured on the new album (like ex-guitarwizz Harry)

Nevertheless there will also be a new tune featuring many 'well-known' metal singers from all exciting styles for a song that is dealing with more unity and tolerance in the 'scene!'

Rumours say that the famous 'butcher' will have an impressive return on the frontcover!

Dommage qu'ils retournent aux Abyss Studios... Je préfère largement le son de Metal Discharge à celui de The Antichrist ou All Hall Breaks Loose.
Le son Abyss est trop répendu et trop reconnaissable. Et il est trop "black", pas assez agressif pour Destruction je trouve. The Antichrist en particulier, je le trouve surproduit en plus, même si c'est une énorme boucherie.

En tout cas, bon trip le retour du Mad Butcher

D'un autre côté, si tu regardes bien, Tägtgren n'est pas seul à produire le disque, y'a aussi VO Pulver, qui s'est occupé de Metal Discharge

Puis je trouve que Tägtgren a fait du bien meilleur boulot avec Destruction qu'avec Dimmu, Hypocrisy et toute la clique !

Sinon pour le Mad Butcher c'est apparemment pas sûr du tout, mais j'ai quand même hâte d'écouter ça !

De toute façon, Destruction sur scène, il y a peu d'équivalents.
Il y a un truc qui me fait chier : leur concert avec Killers en juin à Séléstat a lieu en même temps que les Gods... Les dates de concerts sont des putes...

Le nouvel album de DESTRUCTION "Inventor Of Evil" (AFM RECORDS / UNDERCLASS) sortira le 22 aout.
L'album a été enregistré par Peter TAGTGREN, V.O et Francky de GURD. Il sera mixé par Peter TAGTGREN aux Abyss Studios en Suède.

La sortie de l'album a été encore repoussée davantage au mois d'Août.

Et encore un nouvel invité avec Ferdy Doernberg (il est partout!) qui va planter un solo de guitare slide (sur du Destruction huhu) sur le morceau aux 12000 invités.

Retour direct a mad butcher

Quelle pochette enorme!!!!!!!!Ils se ratrappent shmier et compagnie après celle de metal discharge qui m'avait marqué parce qu'elle etait vraiment sobre,trop même. En tout cas si son rammage s'accorde avec son plumage.......ce sera du grand destruction

euh oki pour la pochette elle déchire grave

mais le reste c'est moins bon , de toute maniere plus ça va moins c'est bon musicalement, au moins sur all hell break loose, the antichrist, voir Metal discharge y avait des morceaux qui sortait du lot : The butchers strike back, thrash t'ill death, desecrators of the new age mais la aucun, je sais que la version promo avec ces morceaux pas complet n'aide pas mais en tout cas que j'ai écouté est tres decevant, je pense au morceau avec toutes les stars du metal qui est loin d'un hymne comme "stars".
Autre cas de deception, le New arch enemy qui est plus que bof comparé a Wages of sin, Angela hurle plus qu'elle ne chante l'avantage du Arch enemy par rapport destruction c'est que la production est bonne.

DESTRUCTION have completed a video for the song ‘The Alliance Of Hellhoundz’, which appears on their forthcoming album, Inventor Of Evil. As on the song, Doro Pesch, Shagrath (DIMMU BORGIR), Biff Byford (SAXON), Messiah Marcolin (CANDLEMASS), Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY), Peavy (RAGE), Bjorn “Speed” Strid (SOILWORK) and Paul DiAnno (ex-IRON MAIDEN) will be seen in the clip even though they weren’t actually on set for the shoot. According to AFM Records, Destruction frontman Schmier’s brother used his technical expertise with computers to bring pictures of the above mentioned to life and added them to the video once shooting was complete.

A release date for the video has yet to be confirmed.
