Avec « XV », les texans de King’s X prouvent une fois de plus qu’ils sont bien les maîtres du « groove rock ». Produit par Michael Wagener (Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Skid Row, Saigon Kick, Extreme…) à Nashville, ce disque, divisé en deux faces (une référence au bon vieux temps du vinyle qui n’est pas anodine) est sans aucun doute l’un des meilleurs efforts de la riche carrière du trio.

King’s X a vraiment tous les aspects du « groupe culte », au détail près qu’il est loin d’être constitué de « loosers ».

Depuis la sortie de leur premier album, « Out Of The Silent Planet » en 1988, Doug Pinnick (chant, basse), Jerry Gaskill (batterie)

et Ty Tabor (guitares) sont adulés par la presse internationale et peuvent compter sur une solide base de fans.

Musiciens brillants et innovateurs au fil des années ils sont tout simplement devenus une référence incontournable. Habile, varié, frais, intelligent et imaginatif, « XV » est une nouvelle preuve des immenses capacités du combo. Comme ils nous l’avaient déjà superbement montré sur « Gretchen Goes To Nebraska » (1989), « Faith Hope Love » (1990), « Ear Candy » (1996), « Tapehead » (1998) ou « Manic Moonlight » (2001), cet album est un mix jouissif de rock et de blues parsemé d’harmonies psychédéliques.

On se souvient de leur passage au Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy en première partie d’AC/DC,

ce soir là King’s X avait fait preuve d’une aisance scénique qui traduisait à merveille leur punch et leur enthousiasme permanent,

des sensations communicatives que l’on retrouve avec plaisir tout au long de ce nouvel album !

KING'S X is back and better than ever, currently wrapping up a co-headlining run with reformed heavy metal legends ACCEPT. In 2011, the rock titans will unleash a brand new album on the masses but — just in time for the holidays — the band will release "Live Love in London", a 2CD/DVD package featuring some of the greatest hits from the past 30 years. This release features two hours of KING'S X's best material performed live, including such classics as "Over My Head", "Goldilox" and "Pray".

The first-ever official KING'S X concert DVD, "Live Love in London" was recorded in January 2009 at the Electric Ballroom in London, England. On October 25, the 2CD version of "Live Love in London" will be available in stores everywhere while the "deluxe edition" featuring both CDs as well as the DVD will be available exclusively through CMDistro.com. The DVD-only edition will be released to stores everywhere on November 23. A pre-order is available through CMDistro.com and fans that order the deluxe edition will receive a FREE autographed poster while supplies last.

The legendary King’s X, comprised of dUg Pinnick, Ty Tabor & Jerry Gaskill, will release their 13th studio album, Three Sides Of One, on September 2, representing their first new music in 14 years.

Today, the band are pleased to launch the video for "All God’s Children", the third track taken from the forthcoming album. Watch the clip below.

When asked about his thoughts on the song and subject material, Tabor, simply answered; “I have nothing to say about it. The song is what I have to say about it."
