Moi j'aurais aimé un DVD live d'un concert de la dernière tournée avec Doug Aldrige... c'est quoi ce DVD avec des clips... on s'en tape des clips !

Ce sont plusieurs anciens membres du groupe qui ont monté un tribute band itinérant à Whitesnake...

Un concert de 2004 à l'Hammersmith Odeon.

Whitesnake have announced their June / July American tour dates, and the Hammersmith DVD/2CD Live set will be issued to tie in with these, under the "Whitesnake The Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues Show" banner. Co-promoted by cable channel VH1 Classics, the tour begins on June 22 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle and is their longest tour in almost 20 years. After North America and Canada, they move on to South America (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Venezuela), then do Japan and Australia in November "I'm back with a mission," Coverdale's press release explains. "It's an appropriate time to reintroduce good, uplifting, positive rock 'n' roll." You can buy $250 meet the band type ticket specials too, by visiting David's web site.

The CD / DVD package is due on the Coming Home Studios / Universal. The track listing for the DVD has been given as:

Je trouve que la setlist est bonne, juste un peu courte en fait. Il doit y avoir quelques jams et autres rallonges de morceaux...

J'espère que ya autre chose de plus lourd sur ce DVD car effectivement si la setlist est sympa ba c'est leg' !!!

D'autant plus que ça fait des mois qu'ils annoncent qu'ils ont enregistré plein de concerts, et que le live devait contenir tous les morceaux joués sur la tournée. Même si je préfère un live sur une date unique à un mélange du genre, le changement d'orientation est surprenant.

Ce DVD sortira le 16 Août.

Et ensuite le catalogue de Whitesnake va être réédité sous forme de box triple cds :

In addition to the DVD, two separate catalogue releases are also on the way. On September 20, a three-CD box called "Whitesnake Chronicles" will come out, with the albums "Slide It In", "Whitesnake", and "Slip Of The Tongue". Then, a two-CD best-of called "Whitesnake Gold Series" will follow on October 4.
