According to the CHILDREN OF BODOM fans site Scythes-of-Bodom.com, Nuclear Blast will be issuing a deluxe edition of the band's 1999 album Hatebreeder on July 18th. In addition to the original nine tracks the CD will feature a bonus track, the video for the song 'Downfall', and a screen saver.
In other news, COB will appear on the next Monsters Of Metal DVD compilation from Nuclear Blast, due to be released in September. The video for 'Trashed, Lost & Strungout' is probably going to be featured.
frontman Alexi Laiho said that the band's forthcoming album, Are You Dead Yet?, will feature "some completely new influences". The album will be more straightforward than Hate Crew Deathroll and will contain some industrial elements. But, have no fear, the trademark vocals and lightning fast guitar and keyboard solos will be in place as expected.

Nothing evil, nothing sacred - Just a power that's been created
There to take you and possess you - Shout it out with a voice from hell
I am metal and I'll never die - We are metal and we'll never die
