moi chaque fois que j'ai vu Arch Enemy en live j'ai beaucoup aimé et niveau compo, je les préfère à DT

Faut dire que le côté trop "mélancolique" pour moi de DT ne m'a jamais fait aimer ce groupe à fond mais j'aime beaucoup quand même, moi cette affiche me va à ravir

DT qui ouvre pour Arch Enemy, c'est toujours mieux que Slipknot qui ouvre pour Slayer hein.

Et puis DT et Arch Enemy c'est deux groupe de death donc ça va quand même.

Bon c'est vrai que Slipknot et Slayer c'est du néo aussi ... HEIN

revenue de vacances et ayant fait tourner à excès le petit dernier des suédois (avec le Nevermore qui est bien mort d'ailleurs!

)et ben je suis de plus en plus déçu,dés l'instrumental je commence à me faire chier et j'ais envie de zapper tout le reste de l'album.

Ca vaut pas un bon "wages of sin"

Lors des 10 premières écoutes je l'ais pené mais après je me suis vraiment lassé...dommage!

Enfin, pour vraiment le comparer à Wages of Sin faudra attendre un peu pour voir sur la durer, mais je le trouve très bon !

Je n'ais pas dit qu'il était mauvais non plus!C'est un bon album,mais à force de trop l'attendre je crois que je me suis fait des idées en attendant un "album messie"!

Ba moi je connais pas bien Arch Enemy et pour sur c'est pas mon style de zic come vous le savez mais ayant écouté le morceau sur le sampler du dernier Rock hard j'ai personnellement trouvé cela sublime ... adoré... et ça m'a donné envie d'acheter l'album pour essayer... on va voir ça !

Bon ben la question de savoir qui de AE ou DT doit être tête d'affiche ne se pose plus, puisque DARK TRANQUILLITY annulent leur participation à cette tournée...

We were looking forward to the trip and examined all possible solutions, but at the end of the day we have no option but to cancel our participation. Bon bah du coup, j'ai plus de regrets... A moins qu'ils nous mettent une autre première partie qui pète tout, mais bon

Et j'espère que DT se décideront à refaire une tournée en tête d'affiche !

Même si les premières écoutes m'ont un peu dérouté , j'ai par la suite adoré , mon album de l'été avec le dernier nevermore "this godless endeavor"

Ils viennent d'enroler un nouveau guitariste (Gus G. a fini la tournée), suédois cette fois, mais n'ont pas annoncé de nom...

Ben en ce qui me concerne, c'est un peu comme Fonz : j'ai jamais accroché par le passé sur Arch Enemy, mais à force de lire des bonnes critiques j'ai jeté une oreille....

Et je l'ai trouvé vachement bon, cet album ! "Nemesis" est une vraie tuerie !

L'intro "Enter the machine" se défend aussi pas mal....Et c'est vrai qu'il y a des petits côtés "prog" (tout est relatif, c'est pas Dream Theater) comme sur "Taking back my soul" qui ne sont pas déplaisants.

Et un nouveau skeud, un !

Leur nouveau guitariste se nomme Fredrik Åkesson.

Commented ARCH ENEMY guitarist Michael Amott: "This guy, he just simply kills on the axe! Rhythms and leads — he's really got a shredding and musical style. He was down here rehearsing with us last week and we had a great time playing music and hanging out. We are eagerly looking forward to hitting the road again, this time with Fredrik on board the good ship ARCH ENEMY."

Fredrik Åkesson, born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden first picked up the guitar at the age of 12, discovered Michael Schenker at the age of 14 and has been hooked on the "shred" ever since! Other early influences include Uli Jon Roth, Yngwie Malmsteen and George Lynch. Over the years Fredrik has lent his awesome guitar talent to such varied artists such as TALISMAN, JOHN NORUM, KRUX, TIAMAT and his own (now defunct) group, SOUTHPAW.

Fredrik Åkesson comments on joining forces with ARCH ENEMY: "I was really thrilled when Michael Amott called me up and gave me the opportunity to play with ARCH ENEMY. I am excited about going on tour with them, and to meet you all. "C-Ya out there — it's time to burn!"

pas hyper convaincu par la première écoute de cet album, m'enfin c'est parce que je suis frustré de les avoir loupé la semaine dernière

Angela raconte qu'elle se voit mal chanter comme ça pendant encore plus de 10 ans :

Metal Edge: Considering your vocal style — and this is not a matter of male or female — but is there longevity for someone who sings like yourse;f? How long can you do this? I mean, I can't see very many death metal bands becoming "heritage acts," although MORBID ANGEL comes to mind…

Angela: "Yeah, and they are really old already! [Laughs] I mean, that's the kind of decision which is about how long do you want to be active in this business. Because it's obviously kind of a young business; it's not so much about my vocal style. The older I get the easier it gets for my voice because people's voices get deeper with age. But do I want to really put myself in front of these people when I'm 40? No. There are singers out there who do it, but I don't really want to have this as a job in 10 years' time. So I'm going to have to look out for alternatives for what else I want to do; what I want when I'm 35 or 36 and so on."

Tu m'étonnes ! enfin c'est surtout en live que ça doit poser un problème, parce qu'en studio y'a des techniques pour plus trop se fatiguer... enfin le jour ou elle arretera ils pourrons rappeler Livia qui est un excellent chanteur de death...
