Rush "R30" DVD

Les canadiens sortent bientôt ce DVD d'un concert enregistré à Francfort en 2004 :

RUSH will be releasing the highly anticipated "R30" DVD in late fall 2005. "R30" will feature the sold-out concert that RUSH played in Frankfurt, Germany in October 2004 during their 30th anniversary tour.

Depuis le Rush in Rio, je me demandais pourquoi pas de DVD

J'adore aussi ce groupe , jusqu'à "Signals" inclus ( et peut-être l'un de leurs albums les plus aboutis, en plus, c'est un concept album...), mais la suite ne m'intéresse pas vraiment, SAUF "Vapor Trails" où ils retrouvent du mordant !
Alors, pour ce DVD, j'espère que le son ne sera pas aussi catastrophique que sur le CD RUSH in RIO....

Beaucoup de gens se plaignent du son de Rush in Rio j'ai remarqué, et ça peut se comprendre, mais perso je trouve que c'est intéressant ce son cru avec une grosse ambiance, on a vraiment l'impression d'être dans le stade

Sinon ils vont aussi rééditer en DVD 3 vieilles VHS!

In other news, RUSH plan to begin reissuing their VHS catalog on DVD with the 1981 concert film "Exit Stage Left..." , 1984's "Grace Under Pressure Tour", and a performance recorded in 1988, "A Show of Hands". The DVDs will be offered in a special box set and then individually.

Well, this is STEELER again...Thanks, Fangface ! j'ai pu apercevoir un extrait de leur dvd, et ceci semble prometteur. Alors , question : quand sera-t-il en vente? + les Cds font-ils partie d'un "collector" qu'il faudrait se procurer en toute hâte?
A part cela, je radote encore : écoutez RUSH jusqu'à "Signals" inclus, puis écoutez leur dernier album "Vapor Trails" : it's a real kick-ass great album !
Pour moi, Rush sont l'un des meilleurs groupes prog'. Et j'ai hâte qu'ils sortent les DVD de leurs "golden years".

Moi j'adore un double live qui s'appelle "stage exit" ou un truc comme ça par contre après j'ai essayé un ou deux studios et je trouve que c'est plat et fade à comparer......je sais pas vous .... En tout cas ce live fait partie de mes disques préférés

S'il y en a qui ont le DVD, voilà comment voir les bonus cachés :

According to Dvdreview.com, on the Rush – R30: 30th Anniversary World Tour DVD the band has included two hidden features for fans to discover. The first is on the disc’s Opening Menu. Simply hit the Right arrow key on your remote control three times and the menu will reload with a new option, Rush Hits St. John's. Select it and you will be able to see a cool clip. Now go to the Interviews section, accessible form the disc’s Main Menu. There, highlight the menu entry 'Interviews And Anthem Vault' and then hit the 'Right' arrow key three times. You will see the guy with the broom on the left of the screen turn yellow. Now press the 'Enter' key on your remote control and you will be treated to Alex's (Lifeson - guitar) interview for Artist Of The Decade.

Je viens d'écouter la version de "Tom Sawyer" sur un sampler, le son de ce DVD a l'air excellentissime

Pas trop d'accord avec ca... y a plein d'albums des 80's apres Signals et même des 90's qui sont bien meilleurs a mon avis que Vapor Trails... Hold Your Fire, Presto, Counterparts ou Test For Echo par exemple

Le vrai nom c'est "Exit ... Stage Left", faut que t'arrêtes la bouteille toi!
Sinon je suis d'accord l'un des meilleurs live qu'il m'ait été donné d'écouter

Le Different Stages est bien bon aussi sur la tournee Test For Echo, avec sur le 3eme cd un concert des annees 70
