je trouve personnellement la reformation de Celtic frost, comme beacoup de combo en ce moment, sans grand intérêt car a part les fans de l'époque qui connait vraiment ce groupe suisse ?? donc le dernier opus en date doit ête vanity / nemesis (1990) qui ne m'avait déjà part marqué a l'époque. A part "To mega therion" et l'album suivant "into the pandemonium" le reste n'est pas resté dans les anal, je ne parlerais surtout pas de "cold lake" l'album glam des suisses

))))).
même moi qui suis fan de cette vague thrash allemande : Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Assassin, darkness, Violent force ou suisse : Coroner , j'ai jamais reussi a rentré dans la musique de monsieur Thomas G Warrior.

enfin sorti je l'ai . mes premières impressions sont très positives . très sombre et varié . beau digipak.

mmmh je dois avouer que les échos sont de plus en plus positifs, j'ai un pote qui a été les voire lors de leur premier concert en Suisse hier soir paraît que c'était énorme mais venant de lui je me méfie

En tous cas vais me le payer tout prochainement, envie d'écouter quelque chose de différent...

A y est je l'ai, je sais pas trop quoi en penser, c'est un style que j'ai pas l'habitude d'écouter... c'est de la musique qui crée une atmosphère assez hypnotique, plutôt atmosphérique et on sent qu'ils ont écouté du Post Rock question influence, j'ai l'impression qu'ils ont assayé de mélangé ce style à leur vieux style.

En tous cas si j'écoute un titre séparé, je trouve ça bof sans plus, mais quand on se laisse aller à l'écoute du disque en entier c'est très prenant et on voit pas les 68 minutes passés.

ce disque est vraiment énorme... je viens de me faire une écoute toute lumière éteinte et j'en tremble encore

vivement le concert de demain soir, j'espère que l'ambiance va donner dans un festival romand (là j'ai un doute)

To celebrate their legendary collaboration and enduring friendship, renowned Swiss surrealist H.R. Giger and CELTIC FROST had announced the exclusive introduction of a line of specially created "To Mega Therion" album merchandise featuring H.R. Giger's acclaimed "Satan I" painting.

In late 1983, H.R. Giger offered HELLHAMMER's Tom Gabriel Fischer and Martin Eric Ain the free use of "Satan I" (along with the painting "Victory III") for an album cover. Honored the young Swiss band agreed to Giger's condition that the band would refrain from making any other commercial use of the paintings, particularly for merchandising. Fischer and Ain later expanded upon the concept of HELLHAMMER to form CELTIC FROST (1984) and the paintings were eventually used for the cover of CELTIC FROST's legendary 1985 release "To Mega Therion", never breaking the oath they made to H.R. Giger.

In 2006, H.R. Giger granted CELTIC FROST the use of "Satan I" as an oversize backdrop for the band's larger shows. To commemorate their long-standing collaboration and the band's strict compliance with H.R. Giger's wishes, H.R. Giger and CELTIC FROST have decided to release, for the first time ever, an official line of "Satan I"/"To Mega Therion" t-shirts, hoodies, and long sleeve t-shirts. This merchandise has been designed in accordance with H.R. Giger's comprehensive instructions and has been personally approved by the artist. This is the only official "Satan I"/"To Mega Therion" merchandise worldwide, and it is being manufactured to the highest possible standards. Any "Satan I"/"To Mega Therion" merchandise not purchased either through CELTIC FROST's webstore or from the official merchandise booth at CELTIC FROST's concerts is bootleg merchandise and neither legal nor licensed by H.R. Giger.

Le groupe va sortir des inédits des sessions de l'album, sur un "Monotheist Companion" :

According to MTV.com's Metal File, Swiss avant-garde/metal pioneers CELTIC FROST are putting together an album tentatively titled "Monotheist Companion" that will feature unreleased songs from 2006's "Monotheist" sessions and rearrangements of tracks from the album. The disc is scheduled for a summer release.
