Le projet electro Era One va finalement voir le jour. Century Media va également rééditer deux vieux albums du groupe, l'excellent "Ceremony of opposites" et "Worship him". Enfin, les Suisses vont bientôt se mettre à bosser sur un nouvel album qui sortira fin 2006.

SAMAEL's Vorph and Xy are currently reworking their "Era One" project (originally completed and delivered to Century Media Records in September 2002) for a January 2006 release through Century Media. The Swiss band's former label is also planning to reissue the group's "Ceremony of Opposites" (1994) and "Worship Him" (1991) albums this fall as a special "deluxe edition."

As previously reported, SAMAEL will spend the next few months writing material for the follow-up to last year's "Reign of Light" album. The group's as-yet-untitled new CD is not expected to surface until late 2006 at the earliest.

SAMAEL's last release was the "On Earth" single, featuring the album version of the title cut, plus various remixes, along with a cover of DEPECHE MODE's "I Feel You", a video for "Telepath" and a live recording of the track "On Earth", recorded in Paris, France.

SAMAEL's video for the song "Telepath" was shot before the start of the group's 2004 European tour in Gothenburg, Sweden with directors Roger Johansson and Alex Hansson. The clip, which reportedly "shows two sides of a personality trying to get in touch with each other," has received airplay via various video outlets in Europe.

J'ai fait quelques années de judo, ça va tataner sec !

Content de voir que le groupe s'est remis en selle (notamment avec le trip Era One...on verra ce que ça donne, mais ça sera pas du metole), mine de rien ils avaient plus de temps que ça pour nous sortir Reign of Light (et là c'était vraiment tranquiiiiiiille....phéphé nous ne sommes pas lents, on prend juste notre temps

).
Bon c'est pas tout mais dans 3 semaines je suis témoin d'un mariage où seront invités Vorph et Xy, alors si phéphé tu veux une photo dédicacée faut réclamer

Sinon, si l'album sort fin 2006, ça sera déjà plus rapide qu'entre les 2 derniers !

Nouvel album pour bientôt

Switzerland's SAMAEL has extended the recording sessions for its new album to include most of October. "Real drums as well as other additional recordings will be added," according to a posting on the group's web site.

SAMAEL spent a week in July going over new songs with acclaimed producer Waldemar Sorychta (LACUNA COIL, TIAMAT, GRIP INC., MOONSPELL).

In other news, SAMAEL's September 29 show in Lausanne will be broadcast live via the Internet. You can watch the concert online this Friday beginning at 11:00 p.m. (CET) at this location.

SAMAEL's last release was the "On Earth" single, featuring the album version of the title cut, plus various remixes, along with a cover of DEPECHE MODE's "I Feel You", a video for "Telepath" and a live recording of the track "On Earth", recorded in Paris, France. The band's "Reign of Light" full-length CD was released in North America in February 2005 via Nuclear Blast Records. SAMAEL's Vorph and Xy issued an album from their "Era One" project — originally recorded and delivered to Century Media in the summer of 2002 but re-arranged and remixed in the fall of 2005 — in January, "Era One" consists of 10 tracks of electronic music composed and performed by Xy with lyrics and vocals by Vorph.

ça va retarder un peu la sortie ça! Ils avaient prévu de le sortir pour décembre! Je ne pense pas que ce sera encore possible
