Chitral "Chity" Somapala, the Sri Lankan vocalist who has previously fronted such groups as AVALON, FIREWIND, FARO and RED CIRCUIT, has announced the formation of a new "atmospheric, bone-crushing power metal" band called CIVILIZATION ONE. Joining Somapala in the group's international lineup are Aldo Lanobile (guitar; SECRET SPHERE), Luca Cartasegna (drums; ex-SECRET SPHERE, MORTUARY DRAPE), Vivian Lalu (keyboards; LALU, SHADRANE), Pierre-Emmanuel Pélisson (bass; ex-HEAVENLY, MALADAPTIVE).
Commented Somapala: "If you enjoy, the prowess of early METALLICA/MEGADETH with more electricity than CHILDREN OF BODOM and the emotions of EVERGREY, then you're on for a winner here! This band has it all, and are going to create carnage! Be prepared to get fully blown away by bone-crushing, skull-breaking metal (beware, there is no cheese involved with this). This chapter of metal has only just begun."

CIVILIZATION ONE, the international musical entity creating timeless heavy metal with neoclassical, symphonic aggression, will begin the recording sessions for its debut album, "Revolution Rising", this month. Guitarist Aldo Lanobile (SECRET SPHERE) and drummer Luca Cartasegna (ex-SECRET SPHERE) will begin laying down their tracks in Alessandria, Italy at Secret Sphere Studios, where keyboards will be recorded as well. Bassist Pierre-Emmanuel Pélisson (MALADAPTIVE; ex-HEAVENLY) will be recording his tracks at his studio in France. The band itself will be producing these sessions. After all of the instrumental tracks are finished, singer Chity Somapala (RED CIRCUIT, FARO; Ex-FIREWIND) will be recording his vocals at Bazement Studios in Germany, with Markus Teske (VANDEN PLAS, SYMPHONY X) producing.
CIVILIZATION ONE's "Revolution Rising" will feature nine songs and is scheduled for an early 2007 release date. The band is in discussions with several prominent record labels, and a deal will be announced in the near future. More information and music can be found at this location.

Quelques news sur l'avancement de l'album. La batterie, toute les guitares et les synthés sont enregistrés, et je viens de finir la basse.
Chity va maintenant enregistrer le chant au Bazement Studio en Allemagne, et Markus Teske (Vanden Plas, Symphony X) va mixer le tout dans ce même studio.
Chity vient également de rejoindre les allemands de DOMAIN.
German melodic metal band DOMAIN has announced the addition of vocalist Chity Somapala (ex-FIREWIND, AVALON, FARO) and bassist Steven Wussow (SHYLOCK) to the group's ranks. The band's new lineup will make its live debut on December 30 at the End of Dayz festival in Pratteln, Switzerland.

The CD will feature 10 songs, including "Life of Agony", "Legends of the Past (Carry On)", and "Time Will Tell".
