"I managed to follow the show thanks to MeLuv': He took my cell phone to the concert, so I was able to get the setlist as the band was playing. Kev talked between all the songs (except the first two) but I was unable to make out half of it. It's a pity, for the audience laughed a lot, I must say. Don't expect much comments on the quality of the show itself: all I could hear was some kind of slush. Anyway, here it goes:
23:35 (don't know whether there was an intro) - Great Blow for a day job (NOOOOOOT FAIIIIR) (linked together with...)
23:39 - Antibody Politic
Kev asking the audience to sing along with the band on the intro of...
23:43 - Parliament of Fools
23:48 - The Cry of the Land
23:52 - Widdershins Jig
23:48 - Another Fine Mess (they play it fu*$ù^n' fast!). Audience marking tempo with HEYs.
Kev asking the audience to sing again on the intro of...
00:01: Inequality Street
Someone started a "SKY-CLAD clap clap clap..."
Kev asking yet again the audience to sing "lalalalalalaaaaa" (anotherdrinkingsong break), audience singing already, Kev has to stop them... (bloody French people )
00:07 - Anotherdrinkingsong I can perfectly hear the violin Before the break, the band stopped and Kev' teased the audience with something about the day being tuesday, and on they went with "Lalalalalalaaaaaaa". Going quite fast. Don't think those guys danced the same jig as last year lol
Audience: "SKY-CLAD clap clap clap..." (they sound good! I wish I was there )
Kev "ok ok"
Audience mad guy: SKYCLAD!
Kev: "............ jig-a-jig tour................. songs............. and I had to buy a couple........ I can't play......... it's my sexual........" I would be happy to see what my pupils would come up with on such a gap-filling exercise...
00:13 - They Think It's All Over. (I nearly started singing in my bed, but I don't think my neighbours would like it)
00:17: Spinning Jenny
00:2something, forgot to check - The Roman Wall Blues.... for all I can hear. They stopped in the middle to tease the audience.
00:26 - The Song of No-Involment
Mad Guy: SKYYYYYYYYCLAAAAAAAD
Audience: "SKY-CLAD clap clap clap ...."
00:31 - Jig-a-jig
00:35: Mr Malapropre & Co
Kev: talking loud AND fast, so all I could hear was: "Thank you very much, good night" linked together with:
00:37 Penny Dreadful (MeLuv is singing Hey Hey Hey Hey - and THAT means the show must be tremendously good )
Audience: "SKY-CLAD clap clap clap"
Encore:
00:41: Kev announces "One More" (Kev or Steve playing the guitare on top of Kev talking. Can't get A THING)
00:42: Emerald!!!! Can't hear what Kev does exactly on "they'd cOOOOOOOOOOOme to claim the emerald...", but sounds good from here
Audience started to ask for more, but (MeLuv' reports) the guy from La Loco said time was up...
My feelings about the show: I heard Kev a lot, and noone else, but I suppose George or Steve had a mike (I can't imagine them all packed around Kev' microphone...). On the whole, it was quite frustrating, though very comfortable. The audience must have had great fun, for I heard them laugh a lot, I heard them sing, I heard them shout, well, I heard them make me jealous. Lastly, my left ear is swollen, BUT I "made it to Paris". That thing about the cease-fire is quite frustrating too, and I think I would be even more frustrated if I had really made it to Paris. I don't know why the show started so late, but a lot of people must be disappointed, since Skyclad didn't play longer than the guests...
Anyway, that was fun for me, but I still hope I can SEE the Clad play soon.
