Ah oui, ça c'est une mauvaise nouvelle

En même temps, je ne trouve pas cela très surprenant de la part de Mats Leven. Il a un peu de mal à se stabiliser, comme Jorn Lande je trouve. J'espère qu'il trouvera un groupe qui correspond bien à son style et qu'il y restera longtemps afin de faire un carrière plus reconnue qu'actuellement.

Dommage, Mats Leven apportait du punch sur scène comme sur disque.
En attendant il chante encore dans KRUX (et ça le fait grave :hail:) et AT VANCE.

Son remplaçant Thomas Vikström est quand même un très bon chanteur qui a gardé toute sa voix, on peut le voir sur les vidéos Youtube du récent concert anniversaire de Candlemass.

Il n'a pas trop aimé sa mise en retrait sur la dernière tournée, même s'il admet qu'il avait accepté cette situation au départ :

I actually think it was a much better, more interesting performance by THERION now in 2007 in every way including the stage production...but it just didn't please my own heart and soul enough in the end.

"Anyway, I'm happy that Thomas Vikström will be the new singer. He's a good friend of mine and a very, very competent singer.

"I will now focus on my own projects including the S&M album [collaboration with drummer/songwriter Snowy Shaw (THERION, KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE, MEMENTO MORI, NOTRE DAME)].

"So, a big thanks to everyone in THERION and all the other session singers I've shared the stage with the last three years. Many cool memories. I'd also like to thank the road crews, especially Peach and Parschau, who've been working on practically all the 130+ shows.

"Finally, a mega-thanks to all you fans who came to see THERION or just mailed your support — I hope I'll see you all again in the future!"

C'est un peu du gâchis, tout de même...Therion avait avec brio réussi le tour de force de décharger Christopher Johnsson du chant et de le confier à un excellent chanteur.

Et c'est bien dommage.
Je l'ai vu deux fois en live chanter Iron Fist, un des meilleurs moment du show.
