The follow-up to 2004's "Faces" and 2005's collection of bonus tracks and new compositions, "W.A.R.P.E.D.", was originally scheduled to be released through Greece's Black Lotus Records, but after the company closed its doors last year, Caffery was forced to seek a new label home.
According to a press release, "Pins & Needles" features a "more powerful, aggressive, experimental and focused attack that is sure to catch the ears of any metal fan." The album was produced by Caffery together with Nik Chinboukas at Nik's Hot Tracks Studio, Spin Studios and Happy Beaver Studios, Astoria, NY.
Caffery's band consists of Paul Morris (RAINBOW, DORO) on keyboards, Nick Douglas (DORO) on bass guitar, Jeff Plate (SAVATAGE, METAL CHURCH) and Yael (MY RUIN, FIREBALL MINISTRY) on drums as well as Dave Z on bass guitars.

My new CD, House Of Insanity, is nearing the final days of tracking. I will break for the weekend and begin mixing on Monday. This will be the first full-length CD I have mixed alone!
I must say I have never been so excited about anything I have ever done. I have been trying to keep my over excitement to a bit of a low because you always like what you are doing as you do it, but this stuff just keeps getting more exciting as each track goes down. From the insane drums of John Macaluso to the additional background vocal and keyboard work by Mr. Lonnie Park (Ten Man Push).
I cannot wait for everyone to hear this music. The majority of the tracking and engineering have been done by myself, alone. I have had my moments of insanity while recording, believe me!!! However, the end results are going to be worth it.
A noter qu'il y aura une reprise de...Bob Marley, avec Get Up, Stand Up, et un instrumental avec en guest Glen Drover (ancien Megadeth), Jeff Loomis (Nevermore) et Alex Skolnick (Testament, Trans-Siberian Orchestra).

j'ai bien aimé son précédent (needles and pin, je crois bien) même si ça ressemblait à une grosse compil de tout ce que Chris aime en metal !! En tout cas un album vraiment sympa que je prends toujours plaisir à écouter, le précédent était pas dégueu non plus, mais ce qui est fort c'est que par moment il a presque la voix de Jon Oliva, voila ce que c'est de fréquenter au quotidien le Mountain King !!
Il espère avoir terminé son futur album solo au 1er mai.

Guitarist/vocalist Chris Caffery (Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) has checked in via Facebook with the latest update on his forthcoming solo album, entitled Your Heaven Is Real:
"Things are moving along very well, so I should be fine to finish at my goal of May 1st. I at least have first mixes for nine of the 14 songs. This track listing is not final, however it's close. Time restrictions will decide if one or two of these songs have to go. If they do, they will most likely be one of the ones I previously released. Hard for me to say until I've seen a final running time and also found out exactly what my record company wants for the different world-wide releases. Me personally, I'd prefer just one. However the business sometimes prefers various versions for different countries and territories.
So, here is what I have. It is a lot of fun to finally be listening to this record in somewhat of a piece. I really think you will enjoy it a lot. Initial reaction has been so awesome.
