Il n'y aura malheureusement pas ANGUS... et c'est vraiment dommage ! J'aurais bien aimé voir ce groupe en concert !

This is a statement Angus-Drummer William Lawson sent us yesterday!

Hi Volker,

I have some disturbing news for you and all our fans.

It seems I can not play drums (or do anything else for that matter) in the comming 6/9 months or maybe even longer due to a recent spinal injury for which I´am analysed right now at the hospital. I´ve had a period with much pain and immobility. I´am still on medication and using painkillers and muscleweakeners and cannot do my job properly aswell. After diagnose it could be.

I need surgery, but in any case I need rest and have to reintegrate using fysiotherapy for a long time. This means I will not be able to play drums at this time or any other time in the future for the periode mentioned and ANGUS can not make it to Swordbrothers in December. This is for my personally a hard dicision to make and accept the reality of my poor backcondition. But, after reality sank in, I had to face the facts. It?s with many regrets I´am writing you these words.

I hope that you and all our fans will understand my medical situation. I'm very sorry my friend. We have to cancel more concerts as we had some really nice gigs planned. What can I say..., live can be a pain in the ass and plays some tricks on me at the moment. I told the guys of the band they could go on with another drummer, but they wouldn´t hear of it. I´am touched by their support as I hope you and our fans will do either.

At the moment we work very hard to find a good replacement for ANGUS!! So check our page from time to time!!

Quoi, t'étais pas bien dans ma voiture quand je t'ai rappatrié de chez le Gorg ?!

Pour la place, faut voir avec Alexis, d'habitude il se vautre sur toute la banquette pendant tout le trajet ! Je sais pas si il voudra partager !

Par contre l'affiche est de plus en plus doom...

Mais il y a Nightmare et... Silver Fist !

si j'ai bien compris ce qui se dit sur le cite du swordbrothers, c'est le Warrant allemand et son bourreau qui remplaceront les français de nightmare pour cette date

The real reason is that the promoter didn't take his responsabilities and was not able to fullfill his commitments.
That was totally beyond our control : the promoter decided himself before finding an amicable agreement to replace Nightmare at the festival.
The band regrets a lot this situation but it will definitely come to Germany in 2008 in much better conditions.

vu les petites frayeurs sur la route hier pour rentrer de Gamma ray/helloween , je laisse tomber ce fest aussi ( pas envie de remettre ca avec le brouillard givrand).

et de toute façon un swordbrothers sans les collegues de "hurlement" n'est pas un vrai swordbrothers

C'est clair que la saison est peu propice aux déplacements de nuit dans la région ! Vu qu'en temps normal il y a déjà tout le temps du brouillard !

Sinon, tu descends sur Saint-Dié le 5 janvier ?
