Ski s'occupe désormais dans Faith Factor, un groupe de white metal.
New Jersey-based metallers DEADLY BLESSING have announced the addition of singer Stephen Childs to the group's ranks.
"Having meetings, and jamming with Stephen over the past month, the members of DEADLY BLESSING and Stephen have bonded with a new chemistry that seems to be a perfect fit with the new songs that the band is writing," the group writes in a press release. "DEADLY BLESSING are very happy with Stephen's performances."
Childs, who runs a local music school called Musically Speaking and teaches voice and guitar, reportedly sounds like a cross between Ray Alder (FATES WARNING) and Bruce Dickinson (IRON MAIDEN). A new demo track for the song "Bullets" can be heard at http://www.myspace.com/tom_umba.
DEADLY BLESSING's previous vocalist, Ski, left the band last November to devote his life to God and his Christian metal outfit FAITH FACTOR.

J'avais pas vu cette new et je trouve ça vraiment décevant... Je savais que Ski jouait aussi dans Faith Factor mais je ne pensais pas que ça le pousserait à quitter Deadly Blessing...
je n'ai pas encore écouté ce que ça donnait avec le nouveau chanteur mais je ne me fais pas d'illusion... Ski était une pièce maitresse dans le groupe... C'est un chanteur d'exception et il était vraiment impressionnant sur scène ! sans lui, Deadly Blessing risque de se banaliser (voire de splitter à nouveau comme la dernière fois...)

Ben le nouveau chanteur a une voix très correcte, mais beaucoup plus banale. Le nouveau morceau dans l'ensemble ne m'a pas spécialement accroché non plus, ça s'écoute mais bon voilà quoi, ça manque de folie...
