Mouais je ne la sens pas très bien cette reformation (une de plus...), déjà qu'ils vont encore passer inaperçu avec leur nouvel album...
Long-running Birmingham-based heavy metal band MARSHALL LAW, who at one time featured Lee Morris of PARADISE LOST, have announced the departure of guitarist Andy Southwell due to "personal reasons." "Andy has been a fantastic servant to the band for many years and everyone associated with MARSHALL LAW would like to thank Andy for his contribution and wish him well in his future endeavours," the band write in a statement. "As a result, MARSHALL LAW are now seeking a replacement so anybody interested who feels they what it takes should e-mail vacancies@marshalllaw.co.uk, typing the word 'Guitarist' in the subject field, and attaching a cv/MP3s/photo if possible."
la mauvaise nouvelle, c'en est fini cette fois de Marshall Law. La reformation elle n'aura pas duré longtemps....même s'ils continuent avec un autre gratteux comme ils le prévoient j'ai peur du résultat.....
c'est pas une mauvaise nouvelle ça, le père Frost il assure bien ! si je me trompe pas c'était lui à la gratte quand Savatage est passé à l'élysée montmartre avec B Bailey en guest il y a quelques années.

Bib : ouais c'est sûr c'est pas Al Pitrelli par ex mais bon c qu'il fait avec Seven Witches c'est pas trop mal ! et puis je l'avais trouvé pas mal à ce concert de Savatage justement, Seven Witches je les ai vus en 1ère partie d'Annihilator je crois et là pareil il m'avait fait plutôt bonne impression. après c'est sûr c'est pas un monstre de la guitare mais pour un groupe comme Marshall Low c plutôt une bonne recrue.
j'avais jamais fait gaffe à ce groupe mais je pense qu'en France ils n'ont jamais du marcher.
Prononcé à la française ça donne "marche à l'eau" et ça c'est inacceptable dans notre pays, y'a qu'a voir Bib ou Gaetan.
Dommage pour eux, ils feront gaffe la prochaine fois.

Mais peut être qu'en écoutant l'album encore quelques fois attentivement, t'arriveras à aimer quelques titres ou mêmes des riffs … en faisant abstraction de la voix bien sûr
L'album n'est pas sorti mais il est terminé depuis 1 an! Et il a changé de nom...
Ils viennent de signer sur un label, ça sortira en octobre.
Long-running Birmingham, UK metallers MARSHALL LAW have inked a long-term deal with Global Music's imprint label DR2 Records. The group's sixth studio album, "Razorhead", will be released in October.
Commented vocalist Andy Pyke: "Despite having the new album finished and mastered for the last twelve months, we chose to hold out for the right deal with the right label. We would like to thank our fans for their patience and are delighted to be working with Ged and Eric at Global Music. We believe that this is the right label to take the band forward. We’re looking forward to working with them and can't wait to get back out on the road to promote the album."

Hier, j'ai fait un achat compulsif d'un groupe que je ne connaissais pas du tout: Marshall Law et son nouvel album "razorhead".
C'est en tombant sur le skeud dans les rayons, en matant la pochette et en lisant les titres des chansons que je me suis dit que ça avait l'air d'être un truc bien heavy qui pourrait me plaire
Et bien, c'est pile poil ce que j'espérais en réalisant cet achat au pifomètre! Ce groupe est un groupe de pur heavy (très heavy même ) qui bastonne tout en étant bien mélodique. Bref, ça arrache, ça déboite, c'est du tout bon
Je sais que certains connaissent ici, alors il y en a peut être d'autres qui ont ce dernier album et qui en parleront mieux que moi

Vu que le topic remonte, j'en profite pour vous redire que cet album est excellent! Je l'écoute toujours régulièrement (et je l'ai même mis en bonne place dans mon top d'octobre ); de l'excellent heavy moderne!
D'ailleurs, le style de ce groupe me fait penser à Judas Priest période Tim Owens et donc à des albums tels que "Jugulator" et "demolition"...Donc si vous avez apprécié ces albums, jetez une oreille sur "Razorhead"
