Ross Halfin, le photographe des stars a annoncé que Paul Stanley lui a confié qu'il se pourrait que Kiss pourrait prochainement enregistrer un nouvel album dans l'esprit des 70's ... album qu'il produirait lui-même.
A suivre.

Legendary rock photographer Ross Halfin has posted the following message in the "Diary" section of his official web site:

"I had breakfast with [KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley [on Sunday, November 9]. Paul told me they may make a KISS record, which he'll produce. A real '70s KISS-style record. If Paul can stop painting, which is his other career."

Ca serait énorme. J'ai adoré Psycho Circus, donc un nouvel album m'exciterait pas mal !

Vu a gibert Dijon cet aprem, le vendeur le passait il a l'air vraiment pas mal ce dvd, j'ai jeté un œil a la setlist qui est plutôt bonne je trouve (rah "a million to one"

). Je pense me le prendre à l'okaz.

Au cours d'une interview radio avec David Brody, Paul a confirmé qu'un nouvel album de KISS était d'ores et déjà en préparation ! Paul l'avait récemment dit à Ross Halfin. A priori, Paul produira l'album lui-même dans le plus pur style KISS 70's. Il s'agira du premier album de KISS depuis plus de dix ans !

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has told Jane Stevenson of Canada's Sun Media that the veteran glam rockers are writing songs for a new album that he expects they will record next year and release next summer. KISS singer/guitarist Paul Stanley will produce the disc. The band will follow the album's release with a limited tour.

"We'll do a handful of shows just to keep in the game (next) summer, maybe 10 (dates), some Canadian shows," Simmons told the Sun Media. "I know Halifax is one, but before you get out there and start the baseball season, they hold exhibition games, that's what we're doing. 'Cause once we go out, it's going to be for a year and a half."

As for rumblings of a co-headlining tour with QUEEN, Simmons said, "Oh, I've heard that, but we don't know until it's real. I would be happy to step up on that stage. I'd (also) love to step up on a stage with the STONES."

Des news sur le premier album en 10 ans

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has issued the following update:

"It's a busy time. KISS is recording its first new album in ten years and we're rehearsing for the South American stadium tour, which starts April 1. Then we head to start the Canadian tour. We are also finishing season IV of 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels'. We debut in June on A&E.

"Our Simmons Records co-venture with Universal Music is doing well and we are about to announce some of our first signings.

"Simmons Comics Group (our venture that has titles like Dominatrix, Zipper and Gene Simmons House Of Horrors) is about to make a big announcement.

"Simmons Books/Phoenix Books did well with my 'Ladies Of The Night' book, a best-seller on the Los Angeles Times best-selling list.

"Moneybag clothing line is gearing up with lots of new, cool stuff. You'll soon see it out there.

"We did a Dr Pepper commercial, which should be on the air at the beginning of the month.

"Simmons Abramson is continuing to do well, with our new client Find.com.

"NGTV.com. If you don't know what it is, you're obviously not one of the 360,000,000 (360 million!!!) video clicks that have checked it out."

Album annoncé en septembre

KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley has told Brazil's O Dia Online that the band's new LP will be released in September.. He also described it as "a classic KISS album" and a throwback to the "Destroyer" and "Love Gun" songwriting style bit with modern production.

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons recently confirmed the group's first album since 1998's "Psycho Circus" is being produced by Stanley. "I don't have enough time to tie my shoelaces and there's nobody else I trust more than Paul," Simmons told RollingStone.com.

Regarding the sound of the new material, Simmons said, "There's nothing to prove to anybody. We're not interested in musical trends or anything else. We're too long in the tooth for that. So it's going to be sort of a classic '70s rock and roll vibe. Meat and potatoes. You know, sometimes you just want to go out and have a meat and potatoes thing [and] forget the French dressing."

According to Amazon.com, Universal will release a new KISS live album called "Authorized Bootleg - Nashville Municipal Auditorium 1998" on May 26. No further details are currently available.

Donc pour le live ca doit être de la tournée Psycho Circus. Donc rien de spé a attendre par rapport à Alive 4 quoi...
Vu que c'est bien a la mode il faudrait qu'il nous fasse une tournee à la Saxon avec des titres plus obscures des (80's...) et ping un alive 6 dans la foulée !

KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley was guest on today's (Tuesday, May 12) edition of "John DeBella Show" on Philadelphia's classic rock station 102.9 WMGK. During the interview, Stanley revealed that the new KISS album is almost finished and will come out in September. Paul once again said that it sounds like a typical '70s KISS LP and he said that KISS will promote the new CD with a new tour that will feature the biggest show they have ever done.

excellente nouvelle,je finissais par me dire qu'il n'arriverait jamais!Cela dit,je reste sur mes gardes,étant donné que je n'ai que très modérément apprécié "Psycho circus"...

KISS' GENE SIMMONS recently spoke about the band's upcoming album and tour. "It's the first studio album in 11 years," Simmons says. "You can't force those things - it's in your blood and it's happening. I have to say, this might be the best new record we've done since Destroyer. In fact it has a similar sound; Rock And Roll Over meets Love Gun sounding record. That's coming out in September/Octrober and then we will be doing a 60-city American tour

C'est marrant qu'il ne mentionne pas Creatures, selon lui c'était leur dernier grand disque, un de ses favoris en tout cas.

Leur truc destiné au marché japonais??
Pas vu en magasins, donc pas acheté...
Par contre, je l'ai vu sur Amazon, mais le prix était assez élevé. Mais bon c'est Kiss, faudrait peut être que je me décide à le prendre, depuis le temps que c'est sorti.
C'est marrant, il y a encore des fans de Kiss ici? J'ai posté à plusieurs reprises pour le DVD de Paul mais tout le monde s'en branle...

Moi je dois reconnaître que j'arrive pas a suivre niveau dvd de kiss. Il me manque encore les kissology 2 et 3 a me procurer !

Mais un dvd de leur european tour 2008 serait une priorité !

Ca avait été évoqué mais bon...

Les Kissology ressortent en ce moment mais cette fois en version Zone 2 ... avec sous titrage en français !
Le bonus pour le premier Kissology qui vient de sortir c'est Largo 77...
Je vais pas les racheter je pense!
Les Kissology 1, 2 et 3 sont des tueries!
On critique toujours KISS pour leur "soit disant" exploitation marchandising ... Mais en ce qui concerne les productions musicales je trouve que ce sont loin d'être les pires ...
Ils n'ont jamais réédité les albums avec bonus à la con ... et les DVD Kissology sont bourrés à craquer de live sans fioriture et interviews casse couille. Ils en donnent à leurs fans pour leur argent en Live ...
Apres les brosse à dents, les capotes et les tongs .... c'est pas indispensable ! Mais je prefere me faire pas arnaquer sur des trucs dont j'en ai rien à foutre que sur les albums ...
