Voilà une excellente nouvelle, j'ai hate!!

Richmond, Virginia thrashers MUNICIPAL WASTE are recording their new album, titled "Massive Aggressive", at Red Planet Studios in the band's hometown with acclaimed producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL), who also helmed 2007's "The Art Of Partying".

Commented guitarist Ryan Waste: "We're in the middle of blazing out the new tracks from 'Massive Aggressive'. I'm really proud of the speed picking on the new record. I finish up my rhythms tomorrow and I'm pumped to celebrate after some gruelling nights in the studio. Zeuss is spot-on for this record and we are thankful to have him in our neck of the woods this around.

"For 'Massive Aggressive', we are striving to capture elements from both traditional heavy metal and hardcore punk. When combined, the two genres can become a lethal formula. We're not afraid to bridge the gap on this one."

Drummer Dave Witte added: "This record is definitely shaping up to be the best we've done easily, I've already banged out all my tracks in one and half days and am totally pleased with the outcome... I think our fans are going to be psyched with this record and I can't wait to play these songs live!"

Vocalist Tony Foresta commented: "I have about three songs left of vocals. I'm really happy with how things are turning out. Zeuss has been pushing me really hard this time around and I think it will show when the record is completed."

MUNICIPAL WASTE will hit the road with LAMB OF GOD, AS I LAY DYING, CHILDREN OF BODOM and GOD FORBID on the No Fear Energy Music Tour beginning in early April.

Il y aura des dates en Europe cet été normalement c'est vrai! Déjà 2 ans "The Art Of Partying", mon album de Juillet 2007

Je pense qu'on ne sera pas déçu avec ce "Massive Aggressive"!

Virginian thrashers MUNICIPAL WASTE have completed work on their fourth album, "Massive Aggressive", with producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris (MADBALL, HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL, UNEARTH) for an August 24 release via Earache Records. The band has since hit the road for a six-week U.S. tour with LAMB OF GOD, AS I LAY DYING, CHILDREN OF BODOM and GOD FORBID.

Commented vocalist Tony Foresta: "The past week has been a real whirlwind for the WASTE. Last Tuesday we finished mixing our new album up in Massachusetts then jumped on a plane to Arizona the following morning to start our six-week tour with LAMB OF GOD."

Foresta continued: "The shows have been a lot of fun and the crowd have been really receptive towards us even though most of them have no idea who we are! The crowds have been massive. We have also been playing some new songs and the response to those has been really good. It's also great to be playing with our good friends SUICIDAL TENDENCIES again. They have been killing it every night on stage and have been a lot of fun to hang with after the gigs as well."

Ça fait changement de Repka, qu'on commençait à voir vraiment trop partout. Ça fait plus raw, plus cross-over.

Celle de The Art of Partying était déjà l'oeuvre d'un autre dessinateur, Andrei Bouzikov.
Bien sympa en tout cas, ça va jeter dans sa version LP!

Plus crossover que TAOP ? Parce que ce de dernier avait une touche plus HxC que vraiment crossover je trouve... Pas que ça me dérange, mais je préfère quand même les albums d'avant.

Je ne l'ai écouté qu'une fois et j'ai trouvé que ça sonnait comme du Municipal Waste fatigué.

M'enfin, il va falloir que je lui donne quelques autres chances.

reçu hier, écouté deux fois... les riffs et compos sont moins inspirés que sur les précédents... je m'y attendais un peu, on peut pas sortir que des classiques... donc je suis pas trop déçu ça reste très sympa à écouter pour se réveiller et quand même dans ce qui se fait de mieux en matières de thrash ces dernières années
