Ben le problème c'est pas tellement qu'il critique... C'est qu'il critique alors que c'est ça qui le nourrit.

C'est plus que limite pour les gens qui achètent encore des albums parce qu'il y a son nom dessus...

Je ne sais pas s'il est con ou pas, et de toute façon ça n'empêche pas d'écouter ses sorties, mais en tout cas niveau hypocrisie il est difficile à battre.

Oui c'est exactement ça. J'en ai rien à foutre qu'il crache sur le métal, ça y a plein de gens qui le font. Il a les goûts (de chiotte) qu'il veut, ça le regarde et ça va pas m'empêcher de dormir.


Mais qu'il explique que le métal c'est de la merde, c'était l'erreur de sa vie, les métalleux sont des intégristes abrutis, etc. tout en continuant à faire des cachets et à sortir des trucs pour pour gratter trois euros, c'est minable. Sans même parler de sincérité, il n'a pas rien qu'un peu de fierté ?
On dirait un animateur télé cramé qui explique qu'il est beaucoup mieux dans sa vie maintenant qu'il s'est retiré de tout ça, mais qui fait des annonces pour vendre du camembert aux vieilles dans un supermarché le week-end parce qu'il faut bien payer les traites de sa télé à Cofinoga.


De toute façon, mon album préféré de Helloween c'est Walls of Jericho, et notamment à cause du chant qui, au moins, a des burnes.

Voici les détails du projet, encore un chez Frontiers Records. Mais ce n'est pas tout à fait ce que Mat Sinner disait dans son interview, ce n'est pas à l'initiative de Kiske même s'il a accepté sans rechigner le cacheton. Admirez son "enthousiasme"

Former HELLOWEEN vocalist Michael Kiske is collaborating with American singer Amanda Somerville on a brand new melodic hard rock/metal project for Frontiers Records. Mat Sinner (PRIMAL FEAR, SINNER) and Magnus Karlsson (PLACE VENDOME, PRIMAL FEAR) are handling most of the songwriting for the CD, which is tentatively due in early 2010.

Commented Kiske: "This is another idea by Serafino (Frontiers owner). I did a duet with a female singer on 'Breathing Water' by INDIGO DYING. It was so nice that he offered me a chance to make an album of all duet songs with a famous female singer."

Sinner added: "We're working hard on the songwriting for the first [Kiske/Somerville] album. It's a pleasure to write and produce Michael's next album, and with Amanda as the co-singer, it's something very special. I wrote songs with Magnus and Jimmy Kresic for the album, and we're really excited about the songs. Eight tracks are pre-produced now and we need another two songs before we will start the real recordings. AFTER FOREVER mainman Sander Gommans plans to join us and he's working on new songs with Amanda at the moment! Look out for a melodic metal masterpiece in early 2010!"

Commented Sinner: "We've finished the songwriting for 12 original new songs - no covers .... and a week ago, we started the final recordings! Everything looks cool and the song material is amazing!"

Additional songwriting contributions on the CD will come from former AFTER FOREVER guitarist Sander Gommans, Amanda Somerville ("Arise", "A Thousand Suns", "Set Afire") and Sinner with keyboard maestro Jimmy Kresic ("End Of The Road" and "Devil In Her Heart", which are described as "two outstanding symphonic songs"). Other songtitles set to appear on the album include "Silence", "Don't Walk Away", "Rain", "Nothing Left To Say", "If I Had A Wish", "One Night Burning" and "Second Chance".

Added Sinner: "We're recording in two studios at the moment. Magnus is recording guitars at his own Stuntguitar studios in Sweden and I'm working at the Audiospezialist studio in Germany with drummer Martin Schmidt (ex-ATROCITY, RMC BAND) and keyboarder Jimmy Kresic (VOODOO CIRCLE).

"After the PRIMAL FEAR European tour, we will start with the vocal and choir recordings and I'm really looking forward to be a part of this progress.

"This album is a big challenge and it sounds already like something really special for me in a time we face a hundred metal releases every month.

"Sander Gommans will join the team and will add some lead guitars and we're talking to two more prominent musicians for a guest appearance."

Achim Köhler (PRIMAL FEAR, EDGUY) will mix and master the album at Indiscreet studios for a spring release.

Somerville is the American singer-songwriter and vocal coach who was tapped to replace EPICA vocalist Simone Simons on the band's North American tour with SYMPHONY X due to Simons' health issues.

Amanda was featured on KAMELOT's latest release, "Ghost Opera", and recently toured with AVANTASIA. She last year released her long-awaited solo album, "Windows".

A Michigan native, Amanda has resided and worked mainly in Germany and the Netherlands since 1999. She has collaborated with several other bands in the metal scene along with producers Sascha Paeth and Miro, and co-wrote the rock opera "Aina". Her own music is of the pop-rock genre.

KISKE/SOMERVILLE, the new project featuring former HELLOWEEN vocalist Michael Kiske and American singer Amanda Somerville, filmed two videos — "Silence" and "If I Had A Wish" — this past Sunday and Monday in Nuremberg, Germany. Joining Kiske and Somerville for the shoot were bassist and main composer Mat Sinner (SINNER, PRIMAL FEAR), guitarist Sander Gommans (AFTER FOREVER, HDK), drummer Ramy Ali and keyboardist Jimmy Kresic (VOODOO CIRCLE). The clips were directed by Martin Mueller of RCN TV who previously helmed U.D.O.'s "Black and White" and "Mean Streets" and GOTTHARD's "The Call" videos.

The KISKE/SOMERVILLE debut album is scheduled for release at the end of September. A single, "Silence", will precede the full-length CD in early September.

Le clip de "Silence", où on dirait que Kiske (et son bonnet bien sûr) se fait chier comme un rat mort alors que la nana tente de jouer le jeu.

Je ne peux pas dire que je sois emballé par la chanson, loin de là, j'attends davantage d'Unisonic.

Et ben au moins, ça fait un chanson bien pourrie qui apparaitra pas dans le prochain Primal Fear. C'est typiquement le genre de chanson de chanson mielleuse qui me fait pas aimer leurs derniers albums...

De toute façon c'était un projet "one shot" monté de toutes pièces par le label pour tenter de faire un peu de cash sur le retour de Kiske aux affaires, mais ça devrait tomber dans l'oubli face à Unisonic. Si ce dernier marche, c'est pas encore dit.

Frontiers Music Srl has announced the release of the anticipated new album from Kiske / Somerville, entitled City Of Heroes, on April 17th in Europe and April 21st in North America.

Kiske / Somerville is the musical collaboration between vocalists Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween, Unisonic, Place Vendome) and Amanda Somerville (Trillium, Avantasia) and this new recording is certainly going to be one of the highlights of the season in rock music. Kiske’s soaring overtones seem to blend perfectly with the ethereal quality and diverse range of Amanda's voice and this time the results are truly over the top.

This brilliant new album sees Mat Sinner (Primal Fear, Sinner) and Magnus Karlsson (Starbreaker, Primal Fear) handling most of the songwriting (with a song contribution “Breaking Neptune” from Sander Gommans formerly of After Forever and Amanda Somerville herself) and with Sinner overseeing the production in various recording studios in Europe. Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Primal Fear, Pretty Maids, Doro etc.) then took care of the mix of the album ensuring a sonic quality second to none.

City Of Heroes will be released in CD, Deluxe edition with a bonus DVD and 2LP vinyl gatefold sleeve.

C'est chiant mais chiant. Le chant est d'une platitude. Musicalement ça casse pas des briques mais ça passe à peine. Mais mon dieu le chant...

J'avais trouvé le premier album pas trop mal. L'idée de faire se rencontrer la voix de Kiske avec une autre chanteuse pourquoi pas.
Maintenant je ne pensais pas qu'ils en feraient un second. Ca n'a pas trop d'intérêt. Et ce que je viens d'écouter ressemble au premier et j'imagine que le reste de l'album sera du même calibre.
Bref, je l'acheterai quand il sera a 2 euros 50 sur amazon.
