Yep c'etait une bonne date, même si le tour 95 etait encore meilleur, niveau setlist surtout forcement
Mais ils sont passé l'an dernier, avec un bon public au Poste à Galène, alors je pensais qu'ils repasseraient...

La dernière fois que je les avais vus, à l'Elysée-Montmartre en 2005, je n'avais pas aimé. Le groupe ne se sentait visiblement pas concerné, et le chanteur était à la ramasse Je crois que même s'ils passaient à côté de chez moi, je n'irais pas sauf première partie intéressante.

French neo-classical metallers ADAGIO will support PARADISE LOST on the following dates:

J'ai vu Paradise Lost mercredi soir à Wolverhampton avec Katatonia et Engel.

Donc Engel à ouvert la soirée, c'est du métal Indus d'apres leur myspace, mais pas tant que ca j'ai trouvé. C'est sympa et bien mélodique et les gars ont la patate ! Ils jouent 30 minutes et ca passe super bien par contre la salle est plutôt vide pour l'instant

Ensuite Katatonia, je ne les avait jamais vu sur scene, j'ai trouvé la voix du chanteur totalement différante que sur album, on dirait limite qu'il ne chante pas vraiment, ca m'a un peu dérangé au début. Mais apart ca rien à dire, une bonne partie du public est là pour eux (j'ai vu plus de t-shirts Katatonia que Paradise Lost et il y en a qui sont parti apres le concert). Ils ont joué 40 minutes voici la setlist :

-My Twin
-Soil's Song
-Evidence
-Forsaker
-Consternation
-Murder

Et pour finir la soirée Paradise Lost, je ne connais pas trop les morceaux de ce groupe, mais je les avait déjà vus au Hellfest et j'avais beaucoup aimé. Et là c'était encore mieux, le groupe a bien joué, ils étaient contents d'être là malgré la faible ambiance (j'ai bien cru qu'ils ne feraient pas de rappel vu le calme dans la salle lorsque le groupe l'a quitté...). Voici la setlist (enfin c'est la setlist papier, apparemment il y a un morceau qu'ils n'ont pas joué dessus) :

Greg Mackintosh doit quitter la tournée :

U.K. gothic metal pioneers PARADISE LOST have issued the following statement:

"Tragically, lead guitarist Greg Mackintosh will be unable to continue with PARADISE LOST's 'Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us' tour of Europe due to a terminal illness within his family.

"Greg's father was taken critically ill some weeks ago, yet Greg decided to commence the tour anyway in the hope that future news from home would be positive. This, unfortunately, was not the case. Therefore (as of 6th November 2009), Greg will remain in England to support his relatives during this difficult time.

"Everyone involved with the band would like to offer Greg our support and to let him know all our thoughts are with him.

"The tour will not end here, though. Milly Evans (PARADISE LOST's long-standing guitar technician and keyboardist from TERRORVISION) will fill in for Greg with immediate effect.

"Having worked with the band for many years, Milly knows PARADISE LOST's repertoire far more than most, and will endeavour to provide a seamless transition between guitarists. Milly is highly regarded among PARADISE LOST's fan-base and is the best person to fill Greg's rôle in the band for the rest of the European tour.

"We apologize in advance to those of you who will be joining us for the European dates and will no doubt be disappointed by Greg's absence. However, I am sure you will appreciate this unfortunate situation was unavoidable and everyone is doing everything they can to ensure the shows run as smoothly as possible."

Quelques dates sont quand même annulées car le remplaçant avait déjà des dates prévues avec son propre groupe :

"As some of you may be aware, we have had to use a stand-in guitarist (Milly Evans) to replace Greg Mackintosh for a few dates due to a serious illness within Greg's family. We did this with the sole purpose to prevent having to cancel any shows and to avoid disappointing fans that had already bought tickets and were looking forward to the concerts. So it is with great regret that we have to unavoidably announce that some gigs must be postponed for now and rescheduled as soon as possible. This is due to prior commitments Milly Evans has with his own band. We are working round these to fly him back and forth wherever possible to minimize any disruption to the tour, but we ask you to bear with us in this difficult time."
