Nom de dieu de pute à crack!!!! j'ai enfin reçu L'ALBUM!!! Je me jette à genoux devant tant de perfection. C'est du SACRIFICE pur et dur. Un album détonnant et ultime! Je le recommande très chaudement à tout le monde. A mon avis c'est le meilleur album de THRASH de 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

C'est un bon album mais pas le KILLER one que j'attendais..Il y a pas mal de fillers malheureusement...good but not great. Le ARTILLERY le décalotte sans problème.....

Au fait Laurent, l'advance était mieux ou tu t'es simplement lassé de certains morceaux après plusieurs écoutes ?

Pour ma part, je suis assez déçu par le chant, ça braille un peu trop à mon goût... Le 6ème titre est nullissime, sans doute le pire qu'ils ont jamais écrit. A part ça, très bon album, plus de 15 ans après, chapeau, sacré retour quand même !

J'avoue que je suis assez mitigé aussi. Les 3 premiers titres sont pas terribles, ca blast a mort et il n'y a pas d'ambiance. Le chant est aussi un peu trop braillard et la batterie trop linéaire.
Il y a qlq bons titres toutefois, mais j'aimerai voir tout cela en live

Ouh les vieux blasés! haha! C'est peut-être pas le meilleur album de SACRIFICE, mais c'est quand même très solide pour une réunion. Les mecs ont vieilli et je trouve qu'ils ont encore salement la hargne fougueuse de leurs vertes années. Un morceau comme "hiroshima" déboîte tout! Et dans l'ensemble je trouve que l'album se tient bien.

Je vais finir par investir, ça fait un p'tit moment que j'ai pas acheté un album de thrash.
Et faudra que je réécoute leurs albums précédents, j'en avais pas un aussi bon souvenir bizarrement.

oui faut prendre autres chose avec, sinon tente sur ebay, Tatiana la nana qui est derriere Marquee vends ses prod sur ebay avec des frais de ports parfois moins chers. Faut regarde le ebay us par contre

On the band's decision to reform:

"When we got back together, we set down some ground rules. We wouldn't pursue this if it wasn't great. We would stop if we thought people would hear what we doing and say it was crap compared to our old stuff."

On the group's comeback CD, "The Ones I Condemn":

"We wanted to revisit the old days of thrash. And we really wanted it to be instantly recognizable as a SACRIFICE album. So the songs had to be fast and they had to be heavy. And one thing we were really adamant about was to record it real — without the new studio trickery like drum triggers and AutoTuned vocals. We wanted to do it all organically. And I feel like this is the best performance I've ever done vocally.

"We just had the right mindset. We were really focused and had a good direction. A lot of bands from our era have got back together and released an album, and I'll get it as a fan and think, 'This isn't cutting it.' I didn't want that to happen with us."
On what was supposed to the band's one-off reunion gig in Toronto in 2006:

"We learned that our songs are really difficult to play after 15 years away. Getting your thrash-metal chops back is really difficult. But when the four of us got back together the first time, it was like riding a bike. It clicked right away.

"And that gig ended up being probably the best show we ever played. I don't think we realized how many fans we still had. We would have kicked ourselves if we hadn't done it."

On whether he has any regrets:

"We don't regret anything. It's the opposite; I'm happy with what we achieved. I would have never thought when I was 18 years old and recording our first album that people would still be listening to it in 2009. That in itself is amazing. There were a lot of bands that were successful back then that nobody gives a crap about anymore. If you're in it for the right reasons, you just want people to enjoy what you've done. And all this time later, people are still enjoying it."

On the band's future plans:

"I couldn't imagine getting in a van and going on tour now. That's not appealing. We're happy with where we are. We're content to play a show here and there and have fun with it. We play every show like it is our last, because we really don't know — it might be our last! But we feel like we did when we first got together; It's just four guys playing music and having fun. There's no pressure, there's no heavy business."

L'album sortira enfin le 22 janvier en Europe, avec des bonus :

"The Ones I Condemn", the new album from reunited Canadian thrashers SACRIFICE, will be released in Europe on January 22, 2010 via Cyclone Empire Records. The CD, which was made available in July via Brazil's Marquee Records, was recorded at Rouge Valley Studio in Toronto, Ontario with engineer Darius Szczepaniak, who has previously worked with I MOTHER EARTH, SUM 41 and EDWIN, among many others. Guest musicians on the album include Jed Simon (ZIMMERS HOLE, TENET, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, ARMOROS), who "[laid] down a total whammy-bar barrage," and the band's old Scarborough metal comrade Dave Hewson (SLAUGHTER, STRAPPADO), who lent some guest vocals to "The Devil's Martyr".
