Ils sont finlandais donc déprimés comme le veut le stéréotype, et leur musique me fait un peu penser à la dernière période de Sentenced. Leur album est sorti il y a un moment déjà, mais bon un petit topic ne fait pas de mal.
THE CHANT's debut album, "Ghostlines", was released in February 2008 the U.K. and Ireland via Shadow World Records / Plastic Head Distribution. "Ghostlines" was described as "a 54-minute emotionally charged rollercoaster ride with morose atmospheres, beautiful melodies and harmonies in the course of KATATONIA, ANATHEMA and HIM."
"Ghostlines" was produced by the MOONSORROW vocalist-bassist Ville Sorvali, and was mastered by Mikko Herranen of Rust and Misery Inc.. The cover booklet was shot by Ville Juurikkala (NIGHTWISH, HIM, AMORPHIS), who was named the "Best Rock Photographer" by the immensely popular City magazine.

Ah ouais sur le nouveau titre je vois ce que tu veux dire, même si je ne connais pas bien Katatonia (vus une fois live).
Les 2 suivants tirés de l'album précédent sur le myspace ont vraiment un arrière-goût de Sentenced je trouve, ça me donnerait presque envie de ressortir quelques albums...

Finnish atmospheric act The Chant released a lyric video for the new track "Come to Pass." The song appears on the band's new album "New Haven," which will be released via Lifeforce Records on June 6th in Europe and June 10th in North America.
