Moins cool, leur batteur originel John Rutsey, celui du tout premier album, est décédé du diabète à 55 ans

According to The Pulse of Radio, RUSH bassist/singer Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson issued a statement over the weekend about the death of original drummer John Rutsey, who passed away last week in Toronto from diabetes at the age of 55. Lifeson and Lee wrote, "Our memories of the early years of RUSH when John was in the band are very fond to us. Those years spent in our teens dreaming of one day doing what we continue to do decades later are special. Although our paths diverged many years ago, we smile today, thinking back on those exciting times and remembering John's wonderful sense of humor and impeccable timing. He will be deeply missed by all he touched."

ah putain ça craint pour la mort du batteur, il était aussi vachement bon! Le rpemier album éponyme est vraiment excellent!

Je suis assez fan du RUSH des 70's, après j'apprécie moins leur son et la prod des 80's même si ça reste de la très bonne musique!

Rush pourraient participer à la cérémonie de clôture des JO de Vancouver, même si c'est pas encore confirmé.

Reports indicate MICHAEL BUBLÉ, DIANA KRALL and rock band RUSH may all perform at the closing, which gets underway at 5:30 p.m. local time.
