Le prochain album des allemands promet d'être bien particulier encore une fois.

According to bassist Ralph Hubert, MEKONG DELTA's forthcoming CD, entitled "Wanderer On The Edge Of Time", will be a 50-minute concept piece that will be structured as a rondo, an instrumental form characterized by the initial statement and subsequent restatement of a particular melody or section, the various statements of which are separated by contrasting material.

MEKONG DELTA last year announced the addition of vocalist Martin LeMar (TOMORROW'S EVE) and drummer Alex Landenburg (AT VANCE, ANNIHILATOR) to the group's ranks.

According to a posting on the band's web site, "It has become clear that the story that began with one song ('Shades Of Doom'), followed by half an album (Rondo for Rockgroup 'Dances Of Death') is continued as a full album on 'Wanderer On The Edge Of Time'. More progressive than MEKONG DELTA has ever done, this album will definitely beat 'Dance Of Death' as MEKONG's finest."

Il y a souvent un violon sur leurs précédentes pochettes aussi, c'est un peu leur icône. Et pour cause, la musique classique est une influence majeure chez eux.

Le problème c'est que si je m'interesse a ce groupe avec le dernier, j'en connais un qui va encore me saloper

Le timbre du nouveau chanteur me fait penser à Daniel Gildenlow (Pain of Salvation)

Tiens au passage j'ai écouté le dernier (de POS) et moi qui suis pas spécialement fan j'ai bien accroché, pas mal roots, cool.

je l'ai vu en LP ce week end au bang your head, mais bon déjà pris trop de choses, et comme je n'avais lu aucun avis, je l'ai reposé....
