Heaven & Hell’s tribute performance to Ronnie James Dio at High Voltage Festival on July 24th will be their final performance according to bassist Geezer Butler.
In an exclusive interview with Classic Rock, he states that “It’s the only time we’ll do this. It won’t happen again.”
“It’s gonna be very emotional doing this set with different singers [Glenn Hughes and Jorn Lande], and it will be very strange being on stage without Ronnie. But Wendy Dio told us that, if he could, then Ronnie would certainly have given this his blessing.”
A Ronnie James Dio Tribute Gallery will also be open to fans to pay their respects and sign a condolence book, and the Ronnie James Dio “Stand Up And Shout” Cancer Fund will be the official festival charity. Donations can be made at

The performance will NOT be filmed or recorded for future release, the only way to see it is to be there in person.
This is a one off performance, this will NOT happen again anywhere else in the world… ever!
