Sodom, new album:
The current economic problems have overtaken and finally reached the music buiss, too. Also the labels have to suffer from that which in our case applies to the label SPV. This also applied to the artists when it comes to the well planned releases which had to be deferred. But now SVP is newly built up and ready for action. They are currently concentrating on the remainder of the bands like us. Therefor there will be no barrier we will have to bear due to our new album so we have already got the stuff we need. Finally we have to file here and there in the studio to our and your satisfaction. There has never been an SODOM album which was as wide ranged, as powerful and as typically Sodom as this one. At the moment we are searching for a new studio which is able to fulfill our ideas of a high quality production. We will start the recording in summer so as to we are able to release the album in fall or pre-Christmas trade.
At this point I’d like to thank you for your patience one more time.

Quand vous parlez du dernier vous parlez de sodom ou de the final sign of evil ??? Parce que y a un album qui est sorti en 2007 (même si c'est un réenregistrement + inédits)

N'empêche le début de la news n'est vraiment pas réjouissante quand même. Pour qu'un groupe comme SODOM en parle, c'est que ça a bien du les ralentir cette connerie de crise...

je pense que c'est l'album sodom n'empêche the final sign of evil m'a bien éclaté un moment

Toujours en attendant ce nouvel album, "Better off Dead" va être réédité en vinyl:
"Better Off Dead", the fourth album from veteran German thrashers SODOM, was released today in Germany via SPV/Steamhammer on quality 180-gram vinyl in a double gatefold sleeve with a full color-printed inner sleeve and three bonus tracks.
The LP, which originally came out in 1991, features the following track listing:

Veteran German thrashers SODOM have set "In War And Pieces" as the title of their new album, due on November 22, 2010 via SPV/Steamhammer. The CD is being produced by Waldemar Sorychta, who has previously worked with TIAMAT, MOONSPELL, LACUNA COIL and SENTENCED, among many others. SODOM bassist/vocalist Thomas "Angelripper" Such recently stated about the group's new material, "There has never been a SODOM album which is so wide-ranged, as powerful and as typically SODOM as this one."

Elle est excellente, c'est la version qui est sur le single qu'ils avaient sorti, y a un solo de tronçonneuse ultime haha !
Bien hâte que le prochain album sorte, l'album éponyme me plait beaucoup, des relents punk bourrin bien sympas, une voix géniale et des paroles vraiment pas mal. Je ne suis pas fan du son, trop lisse à mon goût, mais il n'est pas non plus dérangeant.
