Six classic TED NUGENT albums "Nugent", "Penetrator", "Little Miss Dangerous", "If You Can't Lick 'EmLick 'Em", "Spirit of the Wild", and "Full Bluntal Nugity" will be reissued by Eagle Rock Entertainment on February 3 (prebook date January 14, retail list price for the catalogue is $9.98, with the exception of "Full Bluntal Nugity" at $11.98).

"Nugent" (1982) is the self-titled album that tells it like it is. "Penetrator" (1984) is ever-ready arena rock, as opening track "Tied Up In Love" launches itself from the speakers with its epic bombast. "Little Miss Dangerous" (1986) has just enough grit to keep those "sell-out" chanters in check. "If You Can't Lick 'EmLick 'Em" (1988) delivers more stripped-to-the-bones rock and roll. Kicking back into high gear with 1995's "Spirit of the Wild" proved that the seven-year hiatus only gave Nugent more time to brew up some kick-ass rock.

"Full Bluntal Nugity" (2000) saw this tornado of a man whipping through Detroit in a rousing live set, featuring bassist Marco Mendoza and sticks master Tommy Aldridge. Featuring classic cuts such as "Cat Scratch Fever", "Free For All" and "Fred Bear", the roar of the Michigan crowd in the background stands as proof that this man brings it home with authority.

Nouvel album en vue:

According to Billboard.com, legendary rocker Ted Nugent has set "Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead" as the title of his forthcoming album, which he hopes to begin recording later this year.

Nugent says that he has written "well over a dozen" tracks for his first new studio album since 2007's "Love Grenade" and "eight or nine that I have to capture on tape as soon as possible," including a couple that were demoed in Waco, Texas, prior to his current concert tour. Among the tracks set to appear on the CD are a "grinder" called "I Love My Barbecue" and "I Still Believe", which Nugent likens to 1975's "Motor City Madhouse".

Mouais, le Nuge il assure encore en live mais ses nouveaux albums manquent cruellement d'inspiration. Enfin si ça permet de le revoir l'année prochaine en Europe, tant mieux

Si, il était au MCF 2008. Il a tout déchiré d'ailleurs

(et il me semble aussi qu'il était à un festival en Suède y a un an ou deux...)

excellent au MCF 2008 effectivement.

Par contre j'ai bien aimé Love Grenade moi.
Mais je suis pas un true de Nugent, mon favori de lui est Spirit of the Wild de '95

Je reste sur mon petit coffret de ses 5 albums classiques qui est très bon, pour ce qui est de l'oncle Ted et son côté conservateur j'essaie de faire l'impasse dessus pour pas avoir à retourner ma veste et jeter à la poubelle ses disques, car quoi qu'on en dise c'est un incontournable du rockn'roll!!!

Bon j'aborde le sujet ici vu que c'est un peu un topic generaliste sur Nugent...
Je (re)découvre sa disco des 80's en ce moment. Bien Fm... Parfois trop. Mais pas mal de bons trucs. If You Cant Lick 'em notamment.

Par contre... je pige RIEN a ses titres et a son "dialecte"... A son humour et ses jeux de mot...

Déjà que je ne connaissais absolument pas la 'fievre du chat"...

Yep, l'était dan le vieux monde en 2006 et 2008. Bien cool au MCF 2008.
Effectivement, je pourrais passer des heures sur youtube a mater ses interviews et ses pubs divers et variées... Tres drôle !
Me suis lu sa bio cet hiver... ce mec est vraiment intéressant et différent. complètement taré aussi ouais...
