Frontiers Records has announced a worldwide partnership with Swedish hard rockers THE POODLES. The band's concert DVD, "In the Flesh", and accompanying live album, "No Quarter", will be released before the end of 2010, followed by THE POODLES' fourth studio CD in early 2011.
According to a press release, THE POODLES "promises that the forthcoming studio album will be something extraordinary; a modern take on a classic rock and roll epic. Fans of the band will recognize themselves while the journey will take them to unchartered waters. Alors déjà, quand je l'ai maté en magasin, je me suis dit qu'il y avait anguille sous roche, pour le cd live...
14 titres à peine, dont un drum solo, enregistré on ne sait où...
Bon, je le prends quand même parce que je suis naif.
Et en l'ecoutant aujourd'hui, je me dis que le public, c'est la famille des musicos qu'on entend applaudir de loin dans une cuisine netre les titres, ca manque de patate sevère, playlist bancale (ils ouvrent sur un morceau vraiment pas bon et lent), booklet reduit au minimum sans informations...
ça sent le live baclé pour finir un contrat, et pourtant ils viennent de signer chez Frontiers !
je ne comprends pas vraiment, et c'est tres decevant, ca leur rend pas justice !
Pour dire, les deux titres lives qui sont sur l'edition bonus du premier opus, enregistrés au Sweden, ca sonne 1000 fois mieux !
Allez, je me remet le triple live de Fair Warning, là on joue pas dans la même categorie !
