Poisonblack (heavy/gothic metal, Finlande)

Je viens seulement de découvrir ce groupe, dans lequel officie l'ex-chanteur de feu SENTENCED. Leur dernier opus, "Lust stained despair", est vraiment génial : excellente production, gros son, morceaux accrocheurs, riffs d'enfer (putain, le riff de "Never enough",aaaaarghhh!). Et je viens de découvrir un morceau qui n'est pas sur leur dernier album, qui s'appelle "Love infernal" : c'est hyper prenant, et c'est ici

Pour moi, ce groupe, c'est LA révélation du moment ! Fais chier de les avoir loupés à Paris avec LACUNA COIL,du coup !

J'adore ce dernier opus, "Rush" et son riff monstrueux raaaaahhhh.

ce dernier album est d'autant plus surprenant que le précédent était plutôt moyen!
Beaucoup trouvent ça trop "simple" mais perso , je trouve ça excellent!
paraît qu'ils ont pas joués longtemps avant lacun coil; et puis je les ai raté aussi il y avait vader, god dethroned,sardonic,severe torture au nouveau casino le même soir et comme je suis dans une période bourrin en ce moment alors le choix était vite fait.(sans compter que le dernier lacuna coil est merdique...moi qui avait trouvé comalies génial... )

Les finlandais viennent de signer un contrat avec le label Hype Records.

Le groupe entrera au studio Antfarm en Janvier prochain, sous la houlette du producteur Tue Madsen, pour enregistrer son nouvel album intitulé "Lead & Roll Vol. 5".
Sortie en bac attendue pour le printemps 2011 !

Le groupe vient de splitter...

The Finns Poisonblack have bad news for their fans. The band is going on an indefinite hiatus. The band's latest release had been 2013's album Lyijy but according to guitarist/singer Ville Laihiala (ex-Sentenced), it's time for the band to stop. They decided to lay the band to rest for now.

After the band's last show in Oulu, Ville Laihiala posted this update: "Greetings oxygen spenders. After these last 15 years we have reached the point in our career that it's time to stop and think about the future. Though it has been a great ride with ups and downs, great friends, audiences and whatever has been thrown at us, we're going to hit the brakes now and lay the band to rest. For how long remains to be seen. As you all know, it has to be 100% or not at all. Personally, I really have to think about that long and hard.

"On behalf of the band I want to thank the people who have supported us throughout the years. Labels, managers, promoters, clubs, festivals, crews... and especially the fans. Without you this could not have been possible. Take care y'all."

Si on regarde quelques posts précédents sur leur page Facebook, ils parlent plutôt d'un long break.
Il ne serait donc pas très surprenant que le groupe revienne dans quelques mois en fait.

Legendary Suomi metallers Poisonblack are reformed and announce a string of Finnish shows in October/November, where they will perform their debut abum Escapexstacy in its entirety.
