Eh oui, le groupe existe toujours

Un nouvel album est en préparation, mais il leur faudra se trouver un label...

Sweden's MORIFADE has issued the following update:

"We will start the recording of our fourth full length album in March. We have 11 new songs to record and this will be the first album with the most recent lineup even though both Kristian [Wallin; vocals] and Mathias [Kamijo; guitar] have been members of the band for some time now."

MORIFADE last year posted a new song, entitled "Shadeless", at this location.

The band parted ways with guitarist Jesper Johansson in October 2005 due to personal differences.

MORIFADE is currently unsigned following a split with Holland's Karmageddon Media (formerly Hammerheart Records), the label that issued the band's most recent album, "Domi<>nation".

After a seven-year break, Swedish power metallers MORIFADE make a return to the scene with a brand new studio album entitled "Empire Of Souls". The CD was recorded at White Light Studio in Linköping and contains ten tracks featuring the band's latest additions, Kristian Wallin (vocals; ex-RISING FAITH) and Mathias Kamijo (guitar; ex-HYPOCRISY, PAIN).

Due on September 9 via Rock It Up Records, "Empire Of Souls" sees the band "once again manage to create an extraordinary, first-class power metal album while keeping all their established trademarks, like great melodies, fantastic guitar riffs, the atmospheric keyboards of the mighty Fredrik "Frippe" Eriksson and the unique vocals from the Wallin," according to a press release.

Tant d'attente ....mais tant de problème aussi pour ce groupe merveilleux . Un mois encore avant d'écouter la nouvelle rondelle qui ne devrait pas me décevoir.

Si ça t'intéresse leur nouveau chanteur était dans ce groupe avant, j'avais eu le CD entre les mains il y a quelques années mais j'en ai plus trop de souvenirs :

Merci pour le lien . Il est vrai que le chant était la note à part de Morifade .
J'ai visionné sur leur You Tube , trois nouveaux titres en live , c'est .............différent !!

Bon, ben écouté une fois ..... il faut attendre le morceau 8 "Impact Of Vanity" pour avoir une intro speed digne de Morifade et retrouver un peu leur style . Donc, je reviens sur mon avis : cet album peut me décevoir ! C'est plat , sans fantaisie et trop classique.
