Un DVD d'archives en tout genre est annoncé pour le groupe américain culte de power/thrash technique, pour novembre :

Cruz Del Sur Music from Rome will release the first-ever live HADES DVD in November. The disc will include footage of the band's December 30, 1988 concert in Boston as the opening act for MANOWAR and NUCLEAR ASSAULT. Songs played include "The Leaders?", "Nightstalker", "I Too Eye" and "Opinionate!" It will also contain the "Behind The Metal" feature filmed during the recording of "The Downside" CD. It includes interviews with Dan Lorenzo, Alan Tecchio, Jimmy Schulman, Ed Fuhrman and Scott LePage plus old video clips, live footage and TV show appearances.

Guitarist Dan Lorenzo of the long-defunct New Jersey metallers HADES has confirmed that the band will reunite for an appearance at the Keep It True XIII festival in April 2010 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany.

Commented Dan: "Yes, the news is true. The good people from the Keep It True festival in Germany have made HADES an offer we couldn't refuse. Myself, Alan [Tecchio, vocals], Ed [Fuhrman, guitar], Jimmy [Schulman, bass], and Ron [Lipnicki, drums] are going to play in April of 2010. Yeah, it's a long way off, so Scott LePage [bass] has agreed to fill in for whichever one of us may die before then! We'll need to do a show in New York City or New Jersey the night before we leave (we need to rehearse with Jimmy who is living in L.A.), and we actually have recently passed on some REALLY generous offers from local clubs asking for a reunion. It's tough with Jimmy in L.A. Until then, hopefully our first DVD, 'Bootlegged in Boston 1988', should suffice. It will be out worldwide January 23 on Cruz Del Sur Music."

New Jersey's HADES came on to the thrash metal scene in 1987 with the release of "Resisting Success". They received glowing reviews in all the major metal magazines. They followed up a year later with the CD "If At First You Don't Succeed". In America HADES performed countless shows opening for bands like MEGADETH, SLAYER, ANTHRAX, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, MANOWAR, OVERKILL and DANZIG. During the summer of 1989, HADES toured Europe for the first time. In the middle of the tour they decided to break up after the tour was over. Alan Tecchio moved to Texas to join WATCHTOWER. Dan Lorenzo started a doom band that he named NON-FICTION. Alan eventually rejoined up with Dan in NON-FICTION and they released three CDs and toured the world. In 1999 HADES got back together. Over the next three years HADES recorded three new CDs for Metal Blade Records. They put in a strong performance at the Wacken Open Air festival in 2000. Just as quickly they were gone once again.

Le groupe enchaine les DVD avec un contenant 2 prestations à Wacken et Bang Your Head :

HADES will release their third DVD in early 2012. Live In Germany will contain footage from the band's 2000 appearance at Wacken and footage from the Bang Your Head! festival last year.

"We've been keeping this quiet because we want to make our third DVD our best ever. This is the first live footage where we had so many camera angles to choose from," said Hades guitarist Dan Lorenzo.

Hades have previously released Bootlegged In Boston and this year followed with their second DVD Re-United & Re-Ignited. "It's going to take a bit longer to mix... but check out what Bernhard Baran came up with so far."
