Israel’s ORPHANED LAND will release a limited, 20th anniversary edition of their album, The Beloved's Cry, this Friday (November 18th) via Cyclone Empire.
The limited edition digipack features new liner notes, and remastered demo recordings from 1993.

c'est pas un album, c'est leur demo K7 de 1993. Elle a déjà été rééditée en CD sous divers format (CD et double CD), mais en version non autorisée certainement.
Ca devrait être la 1ère version officielle en CD.

Je l'ai déjà vue trainer en CD à un metal market en Allemagne il y a quelques années... sûrement du bootleg, donc
Sinon, c'est une bonne nouvelle, cette chanson est magnifique et ce sera donc l'occasion pour eux de la rejouer en concert. Le seul truc, c'est que cette chanson me fait pleurer

Le 1er album, Sahara, est fabuleux. Si tu ne le connais pas, tu peux y aller les yeux fermés (et les oreilles ouvertes ). Il est plus death metal que la suite de leur discographie, mais c'est un chef d'oeuvre (bien supérieur au décevant 2ème album).

Mon album préféré est MABOOL. Là on parle de chef d'oeuvre.
Le dernier est plus difficile d'accés et SAHARA est également énorme. je crois q'il n'y a rien à jeter dans leur discographie.
Bref pour répondre à certains, le live est difficile à trouver. Amazon par exemple ne l'as pas. Quant à THE BELOVED CRY il est toujours sorti de manière officielle en CD. Je l'avais commandé lors de la sortie de MABOOL sur le site du groupe. A l'époque il est sorti chez Raven Music.

Guitarist Matti Svatizky has left Israeli progressive folk metal masters ORPHANED LAND. His statement reads as follows:
"To all of ORPHANED LAND's fans, from this moment on I will no longer be a part of the band. We had great years together and I think that our achievements were beyond only the musical grounds. However, it is time for me to move on with my life. There are issues both on the personal and the professional levels that made me come to this decision, which has not been an easy one, and which I'm whole with and sure that will bring many positive things in the future. I wish the band many more fruitful years of creation and joy, and I wish you, the fans, many more years of enjoyment of what ORPHANED LAND has to offer, and who knows, maybe we'll meet again someday in the future, this way or another. Forever Orphaned…"
Added the remaining members of ORPHANED LAND: "How can you sum up two decades with a brother and a partner? The answer is simple: you can't. Matti is deeply immersed in ORPHANED LAND history and his uniqueness will surely be missed. All we can do is respect Matti's decision and wish him the best the future can offer for him. ORPHANED LAND was always a home for friends and shall remain such a place for Matti. Forever Orphaned, beloved brother!"
