Biff est clair sur ce fait: il n'y aura aucune reformation avec les membres originaux. Il leur a accordé le droit d'utiliser "Oliver Dawson Saxon" mais rien de plus ne leur est permis !
Ils ont adoré les shows en espagne avec JP, et ils aimeraient faire plus de charity meet and greet et shows comme ils l'ont fait au Japon.
D'autres dates de live à venir sous peu.

Vocalist Biff Byford of British heavy metal legends SAXON has issued the following update:

"The shows in Spain with [JUDAS] PRIEST were fantastic. Great audience and good to meet them again and MOTÖRHEAD.

"Shows in Tokyo were special. First band there after earthquake so they said great atmosphere and we spent some time at the meet-and-greet.

"We are announcing further shows soon, which will make this tour the longest for many years, I think. It will be around 150 days since March all around the world.

"I am working on setting more charity meet-and-greets; will be talking to the promoters when dates get confirmed. So off for a well-earned rest and a curry. Next show Poland and then holidays.

"Some people are talking of reunions. I can tell you all now while ever ex-members are living in the past and pretending to be in SAXON at every opportunity, there will be no reunion.

"As I have said before: we allowed them to use OLIVER DAWSON SAXON [featuring founding SAXON members Graham Oliver and Steve Dawson], so they could earn money, but they are not allowed to do anything else.

"I know all of you do not like the fact that they can use this name, but if they cross the line too far, we will enforce our high court injunction. After all, we did allow them to appear on the 'Heavy Metal Thunder' live DVD which was done for the fans as it should be.

"SAXON are on a fantastic journey at the moment and we have a great legacy of music, but that includes all our music, not just parts of it."

Ça me fait penser à celui de "Broken Heroes" avec les images de guerre. Même thème à première vue, même type de chanson...

Encore un album tout récent qui m'a déçu. Je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux. Beaucoup trop linéaire.
Je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux surtout après les trois très bons (pour moi) LIONHEART, THE INNER SANCTUM et INTO THE LABYRINTH.

OUi ! je ne peux pas voir le clip en ce moment mais pour moi cette chanson, de loin ma favorite de l'album; est un véritable Broken Heroes part 2.
Ou part 3 si on considère déja la géniale "thin red line" de Unleash the beast comme un broken heroes part 2

"SAXON c'est toujours bon" !

bref une VRAIE valeur sur du METAL !
Cet album est un très bon album comme toujours, les songs sont bonnes, le chant de Biff toujours aussi magique, les harmonique Saxonienne et le jeu de Paul Quin toujours très repérable et franchement heureusement car c'est la pate de SAXON !
Bref du bon SAXON comme toujours !
certes tous n'est pas top ! je me lasse plus vite que par le passé d'une écoute répété mais ca doit être le grand age et l'habitude ! lol
Cela dit il a bien tourné en boucle dans ma caisse et ca c'est une gage de qualité

SAXON rule forever whatever it happens !

Je n'ai toujours pas mis le grappin dessus même si je l'ai déjà vu en magasin ce n'était pas ma priorité à acheter mais maintenant il n'y est plus !

69 Faces Of Rock: Your old catalog is seeing the light of day again. The albums are very nicely remastered, with plenty of bonus tracks, and great packaging. Were you involved in bringing it back to life?

Biff: Yeah, I did a couple of the forwards for the EMI catalog. The back catalogue is what really keeps the band alive, I have to say. It sells continuously. Someone told me it sells one copy every minute around the world. The back catalog sells really well. And now it's coming out on vinyl again, so you got all the CDs and you got the vinyl. When you write so many great albums, and the first five or six were really big for us, song-wise, I suppose. That's why I think this album comes close to it because the songs are great.
