nouvel album pour Altar of oblivion : sinews of anguish
Apparemment il s'agirait d'un concept album sur la seconde guerre mondiale.

Je découvre et j'aime bien sa voix de baryton, par contre par exemple sur "The Final Pledge" dans les quelques moments où il sort de son registre je grince un peu des dents. Mais c'est mineur, et musicalement ça a l'air sympa en matière de doom épique, ça ma fait penser à une sorte de Solitude Aeturnus en plus simple.

Bon ça fait un bail que la pochette est disponible, mais le nouvel album du groupe devrait lui enfin sortir le 11 septembre prochain (via Shadow Kingdom Records)

Le chant reste parfois un peu kitsch à mon goût mais globalement je trouve ce morceau sympa En particulier la dernière partie, jusqu'aux harmonies à la fin.

The drum parts have been nailed for the pre-production of our next full-length album entitled “In the Cesspit of Divine Decay”. Next stop: rhythm and lead guitars.

Our new album entitled "The Seven Spirits" will be out April 26. 2019. Digital pre-order is now available on bandcamp. Physical copies will be available for pre-order in a near future through Shadow Kingdom Records. This is our most ambitious record to date - it has been a long process but the result definitely shows that it's been worth it, and we can't wait to show it to you guys!

Je réécoute le 1er album "Sinews Of Anguish" sorti il y a 10 ans déjà !
Cet album m'a toujours fait tripper, du début à la fin, l'ambiance, sans parler de la musique, est fantastique.
Le 2nd album, je suis moins rentré dedans, du coup les défauts et le chant théâtral (et parfois un peu faux) m'avait plus dérangé même si je trouvais toujours ça sympa, faudra que je lui accorde de nouvelles écoutes.
En particulier la dernière partie, jusqu'aux harmonies à la fin.
