J'ai leur deux derniers disques, mais bon...je les ai plus pour la collec' qu'autre chose, c'est pas le genre de death que j'écoute au quotidien. Faut dire aussi que j'écoute plus beaucoup de death non plus!

l'ablum homonyme ne m'avais pas emballé plus que j'avais bien aimé souls to deny par contre et bien sur le must reste "Effigy from the forgotten" et le cultissime "human waste" sorti a l'époque chez relapse records que c'était bon

Ah ben il le fait bien ce titre.

Ça paraît plus old-school et plus primaire, ça me fait un peu penser à Breeding The Spawn. Bien tout ça.

Le détail des 3 différentes éditions de l'album :

New York-based extreme metal legends SUFFOCATION have made the title track of their forthcoming album, "Blood Oath", available for streaming at this location. The follow-up to 2006's self-titled record was recorded with Joe Cincotta (who worked on the band's last two releases) and was mixed by Zack Ohren (ALL SHALL PERISH, DECREPIT BIRTH). The cover artwork (see below) was once again brought to life by Jon Zig (DEEDS OF FLESH, DISGORGE, GORGASM).

"Blood Oath" , which is scheduled for release in Europe on July 3 and in North America on July 14 via Nuclear Blast Records, will be available in three formats exclusive to the North American territory. In addition to the standard retail version, there will be a mail-order edition available exclusively through the Nuclear Blast U.S. webstore, and a digital version through iTunes.

There are two versions of this live Suffocation release. The original has the
exact same track listing, but the final mix is a little different and without
the final cover art/layout. According to Mike Smith (drummer) there are only 50
of the original versions pressed.

Recorded in 2005 during the band's "Souls to Deny" world tour. The recording
contains the band's complete, unedited performance.

Relapse Records will release the effort as "The Close of a Chapter: Live in
Quebec City", on October 27 in North America and November 2 internationally.

New York death metal veterans SUFFOCATION have unveiled the track listing for their highly anticipated upcoming release, Pinnacle of Bedlam. The album features 10 genre-defining-bone-crushing tracks and also marks the return of drummer Dave Culross, who played with the band previously on their Despise The Sun EP. Founding member and former drummer Mike Smith also makes a special guest appearance on the re-recorded Breeding the Spawn track, “Beginning of Sorrow.”

Je l'avais précommandé (avec un t shirt parce que la pochette déchire tout) et je ne regrette vraiment pas! Du bon Suffocation, du bon death brutal comme on l'aime. on en prend plein la tronche du début à la fin, sans temps mort, vraiment une tuerie
