ALTER BRIDGE RETURN TO EUROPE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2011

BAND ANNOUNCE TOUR IN OCTOBER WITH SPECIAL GUEST HALESTORM

ALTER BRIDGE are thrilled to announce they will be returning to Europe for a sixteen-date tour this October and November. The upcoming tour marks the band’s first time back in Europe since November 2011. In the interim, guitarist Mark Tremonti released his debut solo record All I Was, singer/guitarist Myles Kennedy returned fronting Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and drummer Scott Phillips teamed up with friends in Sevendust to form Projected. Alter Bridge toured extensively in support of their last album ABIII, released in 2010. That tour was immortalized in the band’s now legendary sold-out performance at London’s Wembley Arena in November 2011 and released as the Alter Bridge: Live At Wembley DVD. Currently, the band - completed by bassist Brian Marshall - are hard at work writing/recording their new album, set for release via Roadrunner Records this September.

Frontman Myles Kennedy exclaims, "Thrilled to be returning to Europe with Halestorm later this year! I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the part of the world that embraced Alter Bridge from the start."

Rounding out the bill are recent Grammy Award winners, HALESTORM.

Fresh off their own recent European dates, HALESTORM already can’t wait to get back to these shores this Autumn. The are still celebrating their recent Grammy win for ‘Best Metal/Hard Rock Performance’ for single ‘Love Bites (And So Do I)’, taken from their current album ‘The Strange Case Of...’.Guitar-wielding banshee Lzzy Hale had this to say, “I'm so excited to be sharing the stage with our friends in Alter Bridge! I am so lucky to be the little sis of Rock on this tour. All of these men have been so influential to my life, and are tremendous performers. Anyone attending one of these shows better be prepared to leave the building barefoot, cuz the lot of us are gonna rock your socks off!"

Je sais pas dans quelles salles ils sont passés la dernière fois, mais ils sont si gros que ça maintenant?

Transbo à Lyon, un léger décalage donc

Si gros que ca, possible ouais, ca marche fort pour eux, Tremonti fait la couv des mags de gratte, Kennedy a vu sa notoriété perso boostée par sa présence aux cotés de Slash, ils ont beaucoup de pub, et de la bonne pub je pense.

Ils ont fait le Zénith à Paris en 2011 si mes souvenirs sont bons.

Je conaissait pas et j avais été surpris de voir tant de monde la dernière fois au transbordeur a lyon

Disons que c'est très actuel comme musique, et pas forcément axé metal, ce qui fait que y'avait pas que des metalleux loin de là.

Ouai ils ont une musique assez grand public facile d'accès, et perso que je trouve pas si mal que ça en plus!
