Spanish extreme metallers AVULSED will enter the studio in late January/early February to record a mini-CD, "Reanimations", featuring two brand new tracks ("River Runs Red" and "Foetal Consolation"), a remake of one song from their 1992 debut demo ("Unconscious Pleasure") and three cover songs: W.A.S.P.'s "I Wanna Be Somebody", GOREFEST's "Mental Misery" and EXODUS' "Piranha". As a bonus, there will be eight AVULSED tracks performed and recorded by other bands: five Spanish acts — TERRORISTARS, KAOTHIC, WITCHES' SABBATH, BYLETH and ABYFSS — plus three bands from abroad: IN ELEMENT (Argentina), CARNAVAGE (Algeria) and TWISTED FATE (Australia). The CD will be released by Electric Chair Music in Spain and Xtreem Music in the rest of the world.
