Vocalist Urban Breed has left acclaimed Swedish metallers TAD MOROSE. In an official statement announcing his departure, Breed writes, "Due to personal differences I have decided to leave the band. This wasn't something I took lightly. However, I really don't see how I could've continued. In fact, I believe had I not made this decision someone else would've made it for me eventually. We just didn't share the same vision. I wish the rest of the band the best of luck in the future. To all of you out there that made the ride worthwhile, thanks and see you sometime, somewhere!"
Urban Breed joined TAD MOROSE in 1995 following the departure of previous singer Kristian "Krille" Andrén. Breed has appeared on the group's last four studio albums: 1997's "A Mended Rhyme", 2000's "Undead", 2002's "Matters of the Dark" and 2003's "Modus Vivendi".

Sweden's TAD MOROSE have announced the addition of singer Joe Comeau (ex-ANNIHILATOR, LIEGE LORD, OVERKILL) to the group's ranks. "A new era has begun for us and the next release will be by far the most powerful we have ever done," the band write on their web site.
Commented Comeau: "What can I say? Obviously, I am very honored to be the new vocalist for the great TAD MOROSE! I would first like to thank all the TAD guys for bringing me on board. Work has already begun on awesome new TAD MOROSE material and I am psyched as hell to move ahead on creating a killer new CD with these guys. I am also looking forward to our upcoming shows so I can meet all the TAD faithful and friends alike! Make sure you come and have a drink with us. See ya soon!"

Guitarist Christer "Krunt" Andersson of Swedish metallers TAD MOROSE has commented on the band's current status via the following posting at the band's official forum:
"First I must say that I'm amazed that some of you still post on our forum!!! Thanx! I am truly sorry for not posting anything about the band in ages. Or updating this site. The fact is that I just didn't know what to say. It has felt over the last year or so that every time I say something, something out of my control happens that trashes everything I said. But I can say that we never quit. Daniel [Olsson, guitar] left due to personal reasons. I'm still in, Peter [Morén, drums] joined STEEL ATTACK but is still in, Anders [Modd, bass] joined WOLF but is still in. Joe [Comeau, vocals] is still in. We are curently checking out new guitar players. So this 'new album' is still in the making."

C'est finalement ce qui pouvait leur arriver de mieux, Ronny Hemlin a sans doute plus de potentiel que Joe Comeau aujourd'hui (qui prend de l'âge mine de rien) et c'est quand même plus simple pour eux d'avoir un chanteur suédois plutôt qu'un mec à l'autre bout du monde.
Reste à voir maintenant si le groupe a encore une alchimie après une telle cassure et autant de changements de line-up...

Despotz Records is proud to announce the signing of Swedish progressive/power metal act Tad Morose to the label's eclectic roster. After a 10 year hiatus, Tad Morose will release its seventh album "Revenant" this November.
"Tad Morose is a band that I've followed since my teenage days," said Despotz founder Ömer Akay. "They have their unique sound of melodic power metal and a touch of prog metal. After a decade of silence, it will be an honour to put Tad Morose back on the map again!"
Added guitarist Christer "Krunt" Anderson, "It was through our new management Lena Graaf on GMR Music Group that we came in contact with Despotz Records. They seem to be a hard-working and innovative record label, so to sign with them feels very good. It will be very exciting to work with them and we look forward to the release of our seventh album Revenant in November."
Tad Morose debuted back in 1993 with the album "Leaving The Past Alive," and has since released five albums and toured all around the world.
The band is currently working on its seventh studio album in Claustrophobic Studio in Gävle, Sweden to be internationally released this November.
