Deuxième écoute de ce dernier album. Une très bonne mouture. Beaucoup moins branlos que les albums qui précèdent les deux avec Mike Mangini. Retrouverais-je donc un intérêt dans DT?

En virant Labrie ca deviendrait sûrement beaucoup plus intéressant aussi

Lui je pense qu'il est à l'abri de cette éventualité qui somme toute serait fatale au groupe

Bin, quand on voit avec quelle facilité le groupe (Peturcci) a rebondi après le split avec Portnoy, je ne vois plus personne d'indispensable -sauf Petrucci- à la survie de ce groupe.

C'est sur que nul n'est irremplaçable, même si un chanteur installé depuis plus de 20 ans dans un groupe ce sera plus difficile que pour un batteur...
En fait c'était juste l'occas' pour placer un jeu de mot que je dédie à Yacine

3ème écoute et définitivement cet album est très très bon. Même The bigger Picture (l'une des deux ballades) passe bien. ce qui est rarement le cas chez DT. L'instru Enigma Machine est sublime, Illumination Theory, la pièce de résistance de l'album est également terrible. Y'a peut-être Behind the Veil que je trouve un ton en-dessous mais bon...ça fait plaisir en tout cas d'écouter deux albums de qualité, de suite, chez Dream Theater.

Excellent cet album! Il se bonifie vraiment avec les écoutes, une bonne surprise pour ma part! (je précise que j'avais été assez déçu par le précédent)
