Swedish Heavy Metallers PORTRAIT announce the release of their new album 'Crossroads' for April, 25th. The band is finally prepared to unveil the album title, art, and release the first single from the record. "In Time" is streaming now on www.metalblade.com/portrait, where fans can also pre-order copies of 'Crossroads' on CD, vinyl and digital downloads.

Comments PORTRAIT: "'Crossroads' is a sevenfold blessing and curse upon a dying music scene, an album imbued with something untouchable and yet undeniable. This first single 'In Time' was the first song written for 'Crossroads' and is one of the more straight-forward ones of the album. Bang or be banged!"

The relentless, Swedish heavy metal monster known as PORTRAIT was born in the year 2006 with the intention to exterminate the entire world.

After the release of a demo, two singles and their self-titled full length debut PORTRAIT released their Metal Blade debut 'Crimen Laesae Majestatis Divinae' in 2011. After numerous tours and festival apperances the band began to focus on the third album, entitled 'Crossroads'. The writing and recording process took about a year and Tore Stjerna of Necromorbus Studio handled the production together with the band.

Ce nouveau titre m'a l'air déjà au dessus de l'album précédent, si ça continue comme ça il va envoyer du lourd!

ça va être en tête des charts metal mais juste la dernière semaine du mois d'avril.

Quel ennui ! Aucune originalité, on a l'impression de revenir très loin en arrière, ça a été fait et refait, rabâché et recuit.

Ils ont fait une reprise de Judas Priest, un titre inédit :

Swedish metal band PORTRAIT has recorded a cover version of a JUDAS PRIEST song that has never been released by the legendary British heavy metal band. The track "Mother Sun" appears on PORTRAIT's CD single "We Were Not Alone", which is being sent out exclusively to subscribers with the May issue of Sweden Rock Magazine.

C'est un titre des tous débuts de JUDAS, vers 1974-75.Choix original.

Curieux d'entendre leur version.
